@donovanj95 sense the receive sends pulses of electricity to the speakers to make them go it will work the same with lights. basically if you take some small lights that are like only a watt or two, you can hook them up to the positive and negative speaker wire and it will light up with the pulse of the beat. Christmas light bulbs are perfect, but can blow pretty fast unless they are LED. Also if you hook them up, wire them parallel not in a series.

I got a 1996 dodge avenger es with two 18"'s, two 15"'s, four 12"'s, six 5.5"'s with built in bass, 4 tweets and to 20,000 watt amps and i have red led neons to either pulse with the bass, or stay on steady. i also have led neons on the gauges, in the engine compartment, and underglow and of course i have vibration and sound reducers so it doesnt sound like shit.

OMG!!! Never connect anything except a proper speaker to your amp's output!!! LED Bars & Neon lights are designed for 12V DC from the car battery only. They are meant to stay on steady, not flash. Proper flashing lights will have either a line-in RCA connector or a built-in microphone. The lights are bright because the amp is providing appx. 40V AC to a 12V light. Worse is the power circuit of the lights are not a resistive type load. So you are clipping half the signal. You will blow your amp!!

it works with any light just stick the wires in the back of the sub box where the other wires plug into
