  • A few years ago I was in Vietnam fir 18 days from the south to the north. I must say that Hue was the most beautiful city of them all. It has a strange peace to it a calmness that over takes you.

Knowing that so many died there in the war you can almost hear their voices in the wind. I lived it there.

  • come to viet nam u can see..................all

  • all the things you said below are true ? i'm so pround to be a Hue civilian !

Welcome to Vietnam ,Hue city !

  • anh o vietnam a sao ma` lam` video HD di anh , dua canh Hue vao` youtube ma` mo` qua' :) du` sao em cung~ thik video va` bai` hat nay` !

  • Prosperity only exists in big cities in Vietnam like Hanoi and Saigon, but 80% of Vietnamese population live in poor, underdeveloped rural areas. While corrupt communist leaders like Prime minister Nguyen tan Dung and President Nguyen minh Triet are multi-billionaires, a regular Vietnamese earns only $1 per day. More than 200,000 Vietnamese women from poor families, many as young as ten, are working as prostitutes and sex slaves in China, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Korea.

  • @TOMP66666 Boooh!!! You must be very frustrated for writing everywhere the same idiocies, to which I have already answered, so I will not say anything more. I just must observe that in spite of your hatred and envy, the world is changing, VN is growing, slowly, but inevitably and nothing will stop it, surely your stupid propaganda...my poor looser

  • My language and my nationality are French but I am born in the Vietnam of parents Vietnameses. Orphan, I was adopted, infant. I chose neither my born country nor my country of reception. Are its nationality and its language what there is a more important in a human being?

  • Why stupid ?

  • I am not so stupid. I can understand english or american language but you can't understand mine...

  • BUN BO HUE FOR EVER!!!

  • Upsunday:muoi thuong-phong canh Hue

  • Ma ville préférée au Vietnam. Je vois qu'elle n'a rien perdu de sa superbe ni de son charme...

  • What an odd thing to say :( They won their independence so keep dreaming :P I'm in Hue at the momment and loving every min :D much respect to most of you in Vietnam who are kind hearted, you will always have a place in my heart and i'll never forget the good people I have met i'll forever be thinking of you, I might be a world apart from you but we are the same in heart and spirit take care.

  • Wouldn't it be wonderful if Texas become part of Mexico?? Moron!!!

  • Very Nice! We have a big Viet community here in Oklahoma City, including a couple of members of the Royal Family, but it's nice to see the culture in context .

I also understand the Vietnamese Government is using some of the oil money to restore the Forbidden City at Hue.

  • wonderfull

  • I JUST CAME BACK FROM HUE!!!

  • how was it?

  • Vietnam is one of the most beautiful and sacred places on Earth! Love it! Love it! Love it! and love all the Hue songs....try Mua Tren Pho Hue...Hue Thuong...Vy Da....so many good songs...

  • what is 11 thuong? :D

  • Nice Video, I like the song... And vietnam seems to be a great place to visit

  • I am proud to be Hue xD

I also love our accent, it sounds so

    homely!

  • Hic, mình định ấn 5 star ai ngờ lại ấn nhầm 4 star, thế có bực không cơ chứ!

  • I love Viet nam, especially the central vietnam, where I grew up. Even though I didn't live in Hue, I'd been to most of these places. Memories really do come back as I watch this. Thanks so much

  • does anyone know who the artist is?

rang ma hat hay rua? haha my parents would be proud.

  • yikes. haha all i had to do was wait till the end of the song for the artist to be revealed. i'm a motorcyclist...zero patient. horrible. =X

  • In the English language, we don't say "The Central Vietnam" in a title. It should be just "Central Vietnam". Or, you could say "The Center of Vietnam".

    Best regards,

  • Hue is always in my heart. The images brings me back to my childhood and reminds me I'm a Vietnamese, my Hue heritage. Thanks for posting!

  • oǝpıʌ ǝɔıu

  • omg!!!! how did you write that?

  • from a website

the address is on my page

  • kay thanks :D

  • Oh wow....how you came up with that upside down and backward writing like that? cool....can you show me how to do that? :)

  • vietnam in my heart! i love vietnam!

  • yaya

  • i'm from vietnamese in Sai Gon .

    But i live in finland

  • I thought that many people converted to christianity before the French invaded. And that one of the reasons the French cited was the persecutions of christians by the emperor.

  • nah, french brought catholism(half of my family are catholics), theres this misconception that most viet folks are buddhists but according to statistics, most are non affliated(80%)

  • I born in Hue and I living in the near of the China Fort this was cool

  • vietnam is a very beautiful country !!!

  • very nice! i love vietnam

  • so much memories rushing back to me. Thanks for sharing

  • Well done video. Music and pictures well coordinated and also beautiful.

  • how do you explain our alphabetic writing and some common words that we have with them retard?

  • don't forget we have had French culture, too. I'm not sure it is right or wrong, but I feel like Southern VN is affected by U.S. culture.

  • vietnam temple is very similar to china

  • "ly 10 thuong" I love this song

  • yes, this is true. It is such a beautiful traditional song. But I like only the version performed by Ha Vy

  • The video is not political so why bring this into a debate.Enjoy the country and people they both have so much to offer.

  • What is this song called? i love it

  • This song is called " Muoi thuong " (Ten loves) !

  • @ASCKS i love it.........

  • I just dont know what the heck do the north and south people fight for...so we all die?? perhaps Hue is the most peaceful side of the country of all!

  • I am American and I don't hate Vietnam at all.I have allot of respect for Vietnamese people in general.Have known many in U.S. It's the damn Communist goverment people hate. Not the people of Vietnam

  • i agree with you. :]]

  • ...but what will happen to Vietnam if its government aborts Communism instantly ? will there still be peace among the Vietnameses and peace among the countries in the region ?

I think, the people of Vietnam should wait a while till China names itself a Capitalist country !

  • true. i've the same thought

  • VN has its own culture.. even when Trieu Da (Chinese) occupied us, he converted himself to vn culture. Then he be defeated, and althought we had 1000years of china occupation, we still kept our culture and took some from china. In the conclusion, Our culture is mixture between Traditional Chinese Culture and Traditional Vietnamese Culture.

  • I agree with Phobovn. To niubluer: may I ask you if the Chinese has " ao' da`i ", "no'n la' ba`i tho+", "a'o tu+' tha^n" (northern regions)???

Furthermore, knowledge is not just reading. Knowing our own history (Vietnamese) is a must to every Vietnamese, but it needs to be careful about the source of writings/books. Since, for ex. writers from the Vietnamese Communists regime would present "our stories" with influence of their political point of view (doctrine).

  • Like I said before, lets the experts do thier jobs. And since you hv said 'must be carefull about the source of writings/books', so please dont bring the nationality up here. We'll know the true if we open our mind. Thanks.

  • I must say, these things are just too chinese style no matter you agree or not. But of course in vietnam's way. Look at the buildings, lights, clothes, etc. All is so chinese.

  • @niubluer : The history of the world and VIET NAM are too huge, long and mysterious too. There were a lot of things that we haven't known clearly. Depeding on the books of VIETNAM's history I read, many writers are questioning again the relationship between the history of VIET NAM and China. And among of their opinions, they told that many things of China culture is the same and from VIETNAM's culture ! They are proving about that ! So, we shouldn't give opinions personally ! Thank you !

  • Lets the experts do their jobs then. China from Vietnam or from Korea, or Vietnam n Korea from China. Peace... dont mean to argue or debate..

  • @ASCKS That is a joke of your so-called proving Chinese culture is borrowed from Vietnam culture. No doubt Chinese culture absorbed many outside culture like Buddhism from India, but never from southern region where Chinese called them barbarians in old time. Chinese culture was originated from the Yellow River plain. No one in the world dispute Confucianism is from China where Vietnam culture is based on.

Mind you, Vietnamese is from ten sons of dragon in a legend, not history. Thx

  • @tourmalaysia: Thank you for your reply, and that means you are concerning about the topic. However, did you do the research or something similar to find out information for your comment? Anyway, thank you !

  • @ASCKS What research papers do you want me to present to you? Go do your own research before making yourself a fool to the world.

  • well alot of street/states names in america are english...new hampshire, new york, westiminister, stanton..etc. Does that mean america's indepence from england and american culture is nullified? things influence other things, so what do u know about chinese culture besides what you see, can you make the distinction?

  • you lousy fuck...

  • please choose your words carefully, it reflects yourself.

    Ba me không dạy?

  • please choose your words carefully, it reflects yourself.

    Ba me không dạy?

  • @niubluer yes, i agree with your idea !

  • @niubluer pls do your research ofcourse there are many things similar to others base on the region because of assimilation but at the same time its had its roots!!!

  • @niubluer Vietnam was a vassal of China for 1000 years. So, of course, Vietnamese vocabulary, government, architecture, etc. is going to be Chinese influenced. Look at a nation like Thailand: It's architecture, alphabet, culture borrows heavily from Mon/Khmer. But, I don't see people saying "Thailand is too Khmer." And, guess what? The English alphabet is based on Latin and most of its vocabulary is French. But, folk don't say "England is too Latin."

  • @niubluer I think it happened the same in Japanese and Korea, We all in Sinosphere

  • @niubluer

Are u vietnamese or else ?

    1. if u r then u shud be ashamed to say such stupid thing

    2. if u r not, then just stfu if u dont know anything.

  • Who sings that song? It RULES! I am an American Vietnamese.

  • at 5:07 you can see the artist is Hạ Vy

  • You're Vietnamese American, not the other way around. Or Vietnamese lives in America.

  • If the comment is directed to me the answer is English and proud.

  • so weathers like summer all year long?

  • that's a common misconception about vn. teh huge variety in climate and weather is very surprising to foreigners..it's mostly in the south that it's hot all year long. in the north theres 4 distinct seasons and it can get quite cold. central vn has "in between" weather which has been described as mild. in the south its always hot and only has 2 seasons dry and rainy

  • Now, this is the place you'd like to visit...

  • nice video and music!

  • @chenja : You are so stupid by all the words you said ! You don't know much about VIET NAM ! The great deep power of VIET NAM, I think you never can understand because you are so stupid and have no knowledge ! VIET NAM in the past could win all the superpower countries in the world and it will still be true until now and forever ... ! Wait to see !

  • you didn't understand what you said ! Okie now I know you are really stupid ! Just see your country one more time and compare ,okie !

  • anyway im just wasting my time with haters... viet proud for life...(read more)...

  • Back then Chinese killing over each other, they were only Dynastieswere often established before they get overthrow of an existing regime, or continued for a time after they had been defeated. China was divided for long periods of its history, with different regions being ruled over by different groups. At times like these there was no dynasty ruling a unified China.

The Qing Dynasty, which lasted until 1912, was the last dynasty in China, Chinese get own by Mongols, then get pwn by Jap

  • Just talk as long as you can now, because no long time later, VIET NAM will be the great dragon of the world and you will have one more chance to get back all your words !

  • rofl...

  • ...and only people have "high" education like you, chenja, can write those words. Thanks for your "well educated" opinions. also thanks to your family for raising a child like you...Chenja. BTW, goodluck... while on the street...

  • You're the one who needs to school yourself again. Chinese, French, and American they were just tired bullying with us. You have been brainwashed brother.

  • "just tired"? WTF?????? going to war there is no "tired" ... you either kill or get kill....

Either you WIN or you LOST.... people lives is not to be toyed with...

  • They can crushed little Vietnam anytime. They keep us alive for their political and economical reasons. Pride can blind you brother.

  • Your just stupid. Vietnam had thousands years of war...even the mongol couldn't conquer us...let alone the Chinese got owned...maybe read more?

  • woah! are you kidding?? your statement just transform "they" into acknowledment in regard to the Might and the Will of the Viet people will never give up and will kick out any invaders if they'r unwised to wage war against us; hences, invaders failed and accepted defeat...
