Your duffy was absolutely an angel. My 11 yr old Duncan has cancer but he's gonna beat this! I've always had westies and Duncan is my first Scottie and because of him I am a Scottie fanatic. I'm sorry you lost your precious Duffy. I firmly believe God will let us see them again. Why give us such love and such a gift and not let us have that love in heaven?

Duffy was 9 at that time. After he pas away I have adopted a new Scottie and his name is Dunbar, he does not beg for food but beg for biscuit :)

After Duffy went to the Rainbow Bridge, now we have another Scottie named Dunbar. He's looks just like Duffy , doesnt beg for food thought :) but he does his beard cleaning after drink and food.

This is the cutest video. It is one of my favorite Scottie videos. Our Scottie likes to beg sitting up on her behind with her front legs in the air and motion them in circles and growl - like she is hypnotizing you into giving up your food to her. My husband calls it the "beggin' special" which just cracks me up.

The reason that Duffy has the different haircut is because we lived in Hawaii and we take him regularly to the beach, if he had his traditional haircut, which would be too hard to clean him. And also we have him as a family and does not matter how he look...because we did not want him to only look pretty, we want him to be comfortable for the weather and enjoy his life and happy..

I know Scottish Terriers are great dogs. I have been breeding champion Scotties since childhood and they make great loyal companions. I was simply remarking on how that dog looks nothing like a true Scottish Terrier and how the quality of breeding has obviously drasticly gone downhill.
