  • North Carolina's a neutral state.... In the western part of the state, our accent bleeds hillbilly drawl... In the central part of the state, they're a southern/yankee mix..... eastern NC sounds like the South Georgia version of Don Knotts.

  • Would you post Tim's Strother Martin singing Stairway to Heaven? I think it's from Novemebr 9, 2007.

  • Just sayin, he left out Kentucky. There are some major differences just within the state. Louisville sounds like the rest of the nation, practically. In western Kentucky they talk 100 miles an hour, with the most unique southern accent ever, I can't even describe it. In Eastern Kentucky the tttttaaaaaalllllkkk rrrrreeeeaaaalllll sssslllloooowwww.

  • I'm from NC Yaaaaww :D

  • you gotta love americans =)

  • No Texas huh?

  • @DetJMedlin We aren't southern, we're western.

  • @JohnathonRob I think Houston is a lot closer to the graceland in Miss than near Arizona. But on the opposite end El Paso is closer to the southwest. So it probably depends on the part of Texas. I'm Fort Worth raised so I'm kinda torn myself.

  • @DetJMedlin When in El Paso, you're closer to LA, Cali than you are Beaumont, when in Beaumont, you're closer to Tampa, Fla than you are to El Paso....either way...Texas is Texas, unique. btw, I'm in southern Louisiana.

  • Don Knotts was from West Virginia

  • I'm reminded of the fact that Jim "Gomer Pyle" Nabors is from Alabama--but then I've always wondered if Don Knotts was from Arkansas?

  • yeah, the north georgia accent is 100% right. I put r's at the end of everything. I think we stole the extra r from people up in Boston. "FENWAY PAK!

  • Your not southern if you didnt know it as the "southern draw".

  • @sargeballer or "drawl".... as is the correct spelling.

  • I am kinda "Pan-Southern". Parents from Lousisiana, grew up in North Carolina.

Mr. Wilson absolutely nailed every difference in our accents down here. Fantastic!

  • You know what? Lester Krinklesac. If you know what i'm talking about, you will see the similarities...In the voice at least xD

  • HAHAHAHAHA

  • Being born and raised in LA this is funny but mean lol

  • Was this the day where he talked on and on and on about how much he hated Jimmy Carter?

  • He got the Louisiana accent slightly.....but we don't need to be sold ;___;

  • people from Indiana and Ohio have the accent that make"s you think your in the hill"s of Bama.

  • @garydwaynehamlin Are you in Michigan? because a few years ago some boys up in Grand Rapids Michigan was sure I was from Alabama. even though I was from Lafayette, Indiana. But if you want a real accent you need to talk to the folks from southern Indiana. most Hoosiers are decendents of settlers from Virgina & the Carolinas so that may have something to do with it.

  • @garydwaynehamlin uh no. im from cincy i have no accent.

  • I can't fucking stand Paula Dean roflmao

  • FUNNY...AS HELL!

  • I'm from South Carolina, and I'll be damned if we don't sound just like that. He's got it down pat!

  • @bagbunny You got that right haha im in SC too

  • His Alabama accent sounds like Strother Martin.

  • @zaqwert777 Strother Martin was from Indiana. LOL!!

  • This is a very accurate analysis of southern accents!

  • I think by now that everybody knows that Tim hates Jimmy Carter; Why?

  • @cadetkb Why not? Jimmy wasn't a good president, good guy, just not a good president

  • @cadetkb Obviously you were too young to remember the Carter presidency. if you'd lived through it you'd loath that fool, & his drunken brother.

  • I'll vote for him !

  • Tim Wilson is the best comedian out there, and this is damn funny!!!

  • that is fantastic

  • Tim Wilson is the best!
