@AnnahhYhuu Wow, that was fast. I assume you waited for 2 days without sleep for a reply from me. Don't worry, baby girl. I'll won't keep you waiting next time.
American people don't speak proper Khmer, except for the Extreme Surin guy and Muk, and me and other Americans that can speak Khmer, but yeah after listening to the kid I can tell what he is saying, and he calls you "Kay", which is not a bad word at all, the Khmer people of south vietnam use that word all the time to refer to their friends and family, "Kay" is part of the dialect there, "Kay" means can mean him/her/they, I can tell by the caption and tags that you hate Cambodian people, but okay
what the hell with all of u? he just use second language to talk to u only,he wasn't sure what were he talking?main purpose,is selling a drink to u.i feel sad about his face.
ummm have you ever thought that English is not their official language?? It is Cambodian(Khmer). Cambodia is not an English-speaking country. What if you didn't know a drop of another language and had to learn how to speak it just to earn a living?
i went to cambodia for a visa after 3 glorious months in thailand,it was the worst 10 days of my life so far, but i must say thailand spoils people and i'm going to give it another chance and am in the process of learning the language, but hearing that pushy kid brings back some bad memories.
I'm actually referring to the bit where he speaks in his language. I don't know how to express it phonetically with the English alphabet, but it sounds like "Vea rork ey k(g)e."
Yeah, literally he's saying "What's he looking for?" (Which is practically the same as "what does he want?" in this context). I think it's rude he referred to you as "Vea" but that's his perogative, and it's probably typical for a kid to talk like that anyway. I'm just anil about it cos I woulda used a polite pronoun. Can't expect everyone to be as nice as me though.
By the way, I think he actually says "Jon-sin"... as opposed to "Jon-sten" but nevermind.
maybe u guys shouldnt blame the young boy for his language.. maybe you should blame his parents for not teaching him manners.. i dont hear anyone correcting him on his language in this video so maybe he doesnt kno that. my couzin does the exact same thing when he speak to strangers and its because his mom didnt teach him manners but he doesnt know that so i dont blame him
