I went to see Mom and eat with her in the assisted living place. Dinner was epic, institutional, suck-ass fail. It wasn't a bad meal, it just didn't seem like a holiday.

My favorite part was buying my own pie afterwards. And I'm really looking forward to my friends' day-after-Thanksgiving dinner today, where there's mostly Indian food. Lot of restauranteurs in their family. I just hope nobody has lost a job this year.

I love mixing my corn in with my mashed potatoes with a little gravy on top.Sweet potatoes suck and that dish with the marshmallows. Stuffing rocks and that string bean casserole is good. Those biscuits that com apart in layers are the best! No one could organize their schedules this year so I'm going to Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, Sat, and on Monday. I will give thanks for 3 Thanksgivings this year.LOL:P

I hate getting invited to Thanksgiving and the hosts decide to cook ham instead to turkey. I look forward to that traditional turkey dinner.Cooked ham sucks. I once went to fathers house for Thanksgiving along with 20 other people and my step mother made this shit called pumpkin soup. When the table said grace and went to carefully sip their soup, much to the shock of everyone the soup was ice cold and was supposed to be served that way.Stick to traditional foods, that soup freaked me out.LOL

Jillie - someone should tell you that just scaling your 4:3 video material to 16:9 produces ... well ... eggheads.

You should actually film in 16:9 (your miniDV cam should have such a mode) or let Quicktime crop the top and the bottom of the 4:3 videos off, instead of "flattening" your 4:3 videos to 16:9.

... Otherwise: Great video, as usual.

OK - I'm facing the same problem, ie. iSight producing 4:3. There's just one thing to do: Tell Quicktime (you have QT Pro, right?) to crop / cut away when exporting in 16:9. It's the dropdown right below where you select the export size (like 640x360).

I'm about to do a HowTo for guys like you and me to create 16:9 content with your iSight camera.

That's what I like about driving in the US. There's overtaking in all lanes. Here in Europe (continental), there's mostly the rule only overtaking on the left. So you got one twat who insists in driving at around 120 (kmh) in the outside lane and you can't overtake him on the inside. My favourite meal is definitely Irish Stew (either beef or lamb)!
