  • this man mental DNA should be frozen and saved in a comic book/graphic novel DC/Marvel museam postmortum for ever! he is such a genius, he just GETs super heros/(villains) he just GETs them!

  • frank ur a pimp lol

  • "DD is who I punish for my mistakes and sins" wow very telling, he looks like a dick but what he puts on the page (at least then) was something quite different

  • When you watch interviews with artist greats like Kirby, Adams, Colan, Romita, etc., you realize what a completely narcissistic, back-patting douche-bag we have in Miller. Miller was instrumental in the destruction of the spirit and ideals of the true super hero "comic book".

  • @termsofusepolice Couldn't have said it better.

  • @termsofusepolice that's not a fair remark considering Miller actually hates how comics have abandoned their old ideals.

  • @termsofusepolice There is a reason people "destroyed the spirit and ideals" in the first place: By the late 70s the superhero was more than 40 years old and were unchanged for 20. Miller, among others, took the concept of a superhero and they took it apart to see how it works and learn new ways to use it. As they were, superheroes were stale and had been for years. Its only recently that the deconstruction has gotten stale and reconstruction has begun.

  • "How many superhero's are known for what they CAN'T do?" That line pretty much sums up why DD is such a unique character.

  • He should've stuck with comics.

  • That smile he gets when he says "it was an exploration of what super hero sex was like" at 6:37 is classic. Cracks me up every time.

  • his daredevil is better than batman

  • @DRisLegend200919 I agree. He hit jackpot with TDKR and Year One but the sequel to the former and All-Star Batman were just awful.

    Daredevil was just fantastic!

  • This is powerful stuff. Real science...

  • He is such a genius , you can see the madness in his eyes

  • he is in every word a brillliant master in the world of comics

  • I grew up with Miller's 80's DD run. Now I'm older and I see that his critics call him mysoginistic, a sadist and a pessimist with a dour outlook on life. I have to agree because all his tales weave a similar theme. He wanted to write a book about Batman fighting fundamentalist terrorists which was rightly denied because of Batman's huge worldwide fanbase. What an idiot.

  • @Tabish29 Most of his "śadist" stories, were just parodies of how writers are trying to make their stories dark.

  • @Tabish29 Miller went downhill. The best work he has done was in the eighties, and maybe 300 and parts of Sin City subsequent. After the eighties, in the mid-nineties to present, that's when he started to get this misogynistic, sadistic, pessimistic bent.

  • @Tabish29 HOLY TERROR is being made NOW, and set to release this fall...you leftist dunce! He was right on with wanting to have Batman hunt, and kill, ARAB/Muslim terrorists. Why? because they are our ENEMIES...oh, and BATMAN...is AMERICAN!!! first and foremost!!! LONG LIVE THE STARS AND STRIPES!!!!! and Bats of course!

  • @MrSinister99 Listen right wing nutjob...I've been reading Batman since '81. I bet you havent. I picked up my 1st copy in London and then continued to purchase batbooks in the southeast. Yes he's American but luckily Miller's audience is very limited to people like you because his work just reeks of a bitter 14 year old child. DC is stupid to mess with the global appeal Batman has. But it will be a failure just like all of Miller's contemporary work.

  • this proves that frank miller does not get superman...fail.

  • I could stay all day hearing Frank Miller talk about DareDevil.

  • This clip completely explains why I love Daredevil.

  • Best and most misunderstood comic character there is today...period!

  • This is great. Daredevil was my favorite. I had DD #158 and a Miller/Jansen poster on my wall as a kid and a snake named Bullseye.

  • only a catholic could be a vigilante and lawyer ? lol

  • frank miller is brilliant when he's not obviously shit faced.

  • Frank Miller is the greatest when he's telling a DareDevil story.

  • When he says "What's done by the hand" they show a picture of "The Hand" those ninja guys. I wonder if they did that on purpose.

  • I like this guy's mind

  • this guy is legend
