  • I got to see him at Florida State University's Jazz Music Camp. He was the most fantastic thing I've ever seen. He literally started shaking the steinway. I've never seen anyone do that before!

  • FSU is where he teaches and where he went to music school too in the 70s, we used to pile int my moms 72 Buick lasabre and go to Thomasville Ga, He and my mom studied together and accompanied each other at churck gigs ST. Thomas Episcopal, I was only 8-9 ,years old but He's ALWAYS been really cool,and I studied under him as well!!

  • Marcus Roberts! Best jazz pianist alive - no doubt. Check out the video of him playing Gershwin's Concerto in F. Awesome.

  • Much to admire with this Pianist. His stylish playing just comes so naturally and his solid left hand playing wraps up this Fats Waller gem beautifully.....
