Some SF fans didn't like it when it was first released because there was a satirical element attached to the "answers" to these questions. Now it's recognized as a classic novel that can be compared to "Gulliver's Travels" and "Candide."
@Elric33239 Candide was crap. Voltaire apparently couldn't write satire for shit. It should never even be mentioned in the same breath as The Sirens fo Titan.
@LeLimeLine Did you read him in the Original French or are you referring to the bad translations of his works? If the former, what makes you an expert on satire? While Candide wasn't the best work he's written, I wouldn't toss all of his works in the trash, especially Micromegas.
They should've switched the order of the planets to Earth --> Mars --> Mercury --> Titan
