How did you hook up your HD-1 in order to play Rock Band? Via Guitar Hero drums?

Yep, with GH drums. I just keep the brain and the MIDI interface. And i use the PC with the "MIDIFISH" software to assign the right midi notes to each part of the drums.

I have "boxxed" the GH drums to put it on the HD-1 stand.

But.. you have to have your HD-1 plugged into the PC when playing, right?

Right. you can't reassign midi notes with the HD-1 brain, so i have to use the PC.
