I am related to The Brox Sisters on my mother's side. The other day, my mom showed me an original sketch portrait of Lorraine...I look just like her and so proud of it! ;o)

Christina Aguilera made a remake of this song for the film The Spirit - though I say remake loosely since she changed a number of the lyrics and tone. However the chorus remains the same.
That said I prefer the original artists - but it nice to know that by artists making remakes these wonderfully talented early performers are getting the recognition they deserve.
In the late 70s Tom Snyder had Christine Jorgenson on his latenight show singing this song. She/he did a pretty good version. Wish there was a video of it.
They were born in Canada I believe, at least some of them, then they moved to New York and eventually California. Their original name was Broc - sounds french or something. I think they had 8-9 sisters, they were the youngest.

I think one of the best parodys of "falling in love again" was by Guy Sinner, playing a gay german officer in the britcom "Allo, Allo).
