@bluegrasssingingman The standard dreadnought is the Martin D-28. Every dread will always be compared to it and few will be able to stand up. That being said I like some stuff that Gibson puts out like the round shoulder J-45. Also the songwriter series from Gibson will stand on its own legs against a D-28. Others make some good guitars but their sound is quite different. If you have time check out Sand guitars from cali they sound great.
