  • If you like accordian music, you should hear James Last's "Biscaya".

  • great!!!

  • You're so right,he had style grace, superiority, good looks and was one of the best

  • I listen to talent like this on the box, and I think of a couple of good Accordion players coming on to the America's got Talent show auditions a couple of years back. They got to play about eight bars of a tune when they were buzzed by Piers Morgan who told them in his smart arse way "There is only one thing worse than an accordion player and thats two accordion players" Ye Gods........!

  • This could be where Stevie Ray Vaughan got the inspiration for his song "The House Is Rockin'!

  • great stuff...

  • Lawrence Welk Show will overlive The Beatles.

  • Myron ROCKS!

  • Download the audio from this track at speedyconversion doht cohm.

  • the guy Tomislav Latinkic referenced below is good but not in the same style as Myron. Still, different areas, different eras, music played make for a good horserace! I still prefer Myron! And just because he was a member of the Welk Band from my neck of the woods! Bottom line: good music reigns. Now if we could just eliminate rap and hippity-hop music...........!!!! LOL!

  • Oy vey! That man can play like no one's business! Thanks for posting this!

  • Answering the question... CAN ANYONE MAKE A ACCORDIAN WAIL?

    Really amazing... thanks for posting:)

  • Tässä mallia Buugin soittajille !

  • 0:27 Look at Myron's sultry accordion face. Amazing.

  • it's titel name is Pinetop's Boogie

  • man oh man.. no one can rock out on the accordian like he did!

  • @fumingriley There never was a western accordeonist that could compare to any of the good Jugoslavian accordeonists. Both Myron and Jo Ann, god bless'em, would have been rejected for a TV show over there, and they still would be rejected today. Don't believe me? Take a look at "Tomislav Latinkic - Soborsko oro" here on youtube.

  • @3lmaiDy jugoslavian folk is difficult like classical music and people there play so good, but the style is another thing

  • I have been in love with Myron since 1956 when we got our first TV as a teenager.

Yo me enamore' con este hombre en el ano 1956 cuando compramos nuestro primer televisor.

  • Play this instrument with a simple song and I will say great but this guy has extreme talent to do Boogie Woogie. I say WOW!

  • either way this guy is better than me at this instrument, i like it lol and i think he did good job

  • Jo Ann Castle eats him for lunch. Look at her fingering on Get Happy, about a minute in. Myron's good, but Jo Ann is definitely IT on the accordion, and on the whorehouse piano. Check out her early take on the Sheik of Araby.

  • @brustdiesel Yes she's scary good on Hejre Katy too.

  • @brustdiesel No way, Myron was the best. Joann was good but Myron could do it all, swing, big band, polka, classical; there'll never be another like him.

  • Now that's some boogie!! Myron can't be topped !!!

  • @fordman4444 his boyfriend says he enjoyed being topped.

  • round about 1:05

    can i se a bassoon?

  • Pinetop's boogie woogie right?

  • Myron was one of the greatest. He had style and skill far superior to most. I miss him dearly.

  • That Was Truly Inspiring!!! The Most Amazing Version of Boogie Woogie! Yes, Thank You for Posting This....!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!

  • Absolutely excellent! Boogie woogie has always been my favorite style of music. Myron makes that accordian sound like the Tommy Dorsey orchestra in a box! That is amazing how he can do the boogie bass with the buttons on the left side!

  • sounds fabulous!!! thanks for putting it up!

  • Absolutely, the greatest accordionist that ever existed! Watch some of these others who are good, but can't handle the base work that Myron did. Ask anyone who plays the accordion, and I'm sure they will agree!

  • He's playin the boogie on the base side thats crazy!!

  • without a DOUBT the GREATEST accordionist that EVER LIVED

  • You know what, I honestly agree with you and my Uncle was Charles Magnante.

  • The World of Accordions Museum in Superior, Wis. holds a collection of your uncle Charles' items. If you're interested in knowing that... It's an awesome collection!!!

  • this is a great one! he always does AMAZING bass work!
