:D Well done, but it left a few details out.

1. When Buddha-Sadhu was born, he took seven steps, each of those steps on a blooming waterlilies that gradually got bigger toward the end of his first seven steps.

2. What Khanadevla told the king was that Siddhartha would either become a great king or great monk.

There were some other things, but then again, there are different versions of the story. Just saying. :D

@truthisrare The "happiness" of a family in Samsara is not the same as Enlightenment. He abandoned his worldly attachments in order to attain Enlightenment for the benefit of all sentient beings. Actually, "happiness" has very little to do with it.

@TheDoom13 "Lord" doesn't mean "god." They're simply using the term "Lord Buddha" as a sign of respect. He was more than just a teacher. He was a fully enlightened Buddha. The implication would be inherent in native eastern tongues, but in order to really portray the level of importance in English, it makes sense to refer to him as "Lord Buddha."

It's a very Theravadan/Hinayana thing to do. Very few Mahayanists would say "Lord Buddha," but rather "Buddha Shakyamuni" since there are many Buddhas
