  • Those early CSX paint schemes were super ugly. What morons decided on gray/blue, since it's so hazardous when it comes to visibility issues? Thankfully they finally got it right with the current blue/yellow scheme.

  • Nice catch love seeing the chessie colors!

  • Nice S Curve, where is this at?

  • Less than a mile east of the portal of Sand Patch tunnel...

  • @1jackdk sweet video sand patch in show and still with B&O CPLs miss those days I only got to first see sand patch in th early 90s but I sure remember those CPLs sand patch will never be the same not near as fun with modern signals and everyday CSX power

  • @gaycowboy31 Gotta love those CPL's. I have a fully restored one in my yard, and an extra to do for my garage. I had to rescue a few when they where taking them down, and glad I did. Sand Patch is still a neat place to visit, but since they removed the pole line, all the good shots are growing in cause they don't need to trim back the vegetation for the wires...

  • Wow, talk about really making the grade look easy. I still couldn't believe the one time Tommy did it with Q138.. With this stuff thats amazing!

  • Beautiful shot! 5/5 Rich

  • That had to be really rare, even in 1990, to see a unit still in original B&O livery! Excellent!

  • Absolute magic Jack, this couldn't be better had it been taken today...5* Bob

  • There is nothing like hard core mountain railroading Bob!!! Thanks for all the 5*'s. Jack
