  • That knife sucks! Look at how long it took him to cut that little tree down? A $75 Becker BK9 would have taken that tree down with a fraction of chops!

  • ya know they make axes for this mate

  • Oh my god, you guy rule!!!

  • ...easy job...

  • Damn! That knife would F up a person lol. Hmmm...

  • fratele meu am niste salcami uscati ce zici te bagi sa ii tai si daca mai rezista cutitul imi cumpar si eu unul

  • Bai tarane ,nu mai taia copacii verzii,taie-i doar pe cei uscati.

  • non americans have always been a breath of fresh air to me. Great vid. nice english. zie accent ist sehr gut. epic stamina thanks

  • Nice job man, have me convinced!

  • ITS TAKING FOREVER CUTTING. BUT FOR THAT PRICE SEEMS LIKE A NICE KNIFE.

  • Very nice ;D

  • I love the start of your tests: "Let's find out."

  • easy? That took a lot of effort to bring down that tree. Yes the knife is good quality but chopping through those things was based on your great strength and stamina. Great vid thanks for showing what it can do if it came down to surviving with a quality fighting blade.

  • wez sie koles naucz mowic;\

  • That seems like a lot of work to chop through a relatively thin stem.

  • I don't know about this test. This knife is for combat not survival.

  • is this the aus8 version or the san mai iii?

  • @p3rc Aus8a version of the blade i payed 100 dolars for it the san mai III would be more pricey

  • @dediu00ro thats pretty impressive for aus8, good work!

  • @dediu00ro wow, where im from the san mai is 100 and the aus 8 is 55

  • Nice video

  • Amazing display of a good knife and the users stamina and strength! That looked like 4 inch hardwood tree, and you brought it down in a few minutes. I was thinking about getting a OSI for self-defense and survival/bush purposes. I will subscribe to hope for more videos like this, thank you!

  • @ComradeGeneralK For self defense it would be a great option its just so light in the hand i will make a knife fighting video with it in the future the real problem i had in the chopping was that it just is not made to chop batoning and cutting is just perfect and the handle is perfect i like it over the OSS 10 times with a dagger u just cant do anything very well exept for fighting with a knife and cutting meats

  • @dediu00ro I agree, you don't get much use out of the double-edge OSS for other things besides fighting. I can imagine doing so many survival chores with a OSI, like batoning, gutting fish, making shelter, and making feather sticks. Was the handle comfortable while chomping? Did it obsorb the impact of the strikes?

  • @ComradeGeneralK Yeah it does absorb some of the impact but its more about the grip its just perfect if it would be more rubber it would affect the grip when u are cutting heavy duty rubber and stuff like that it does its job even when covered in fish fat and blood the finger grove will do its job and help the traction

  • @ComradeGeneralK

yeah but i would still get a better knife than this one for survival

  • ok this knife cut good but it's an figthing knife not a s chopper !

  • The Cold Steel OSI. Because what good is a knife if it can't cut down a tree?

  • @OzfanCometh No this is not the point of the video it just shows how far can you go with this knife and it will not break normal cheap knives with no maker or firm. doing these kind of survival work will bust up the handle or maybe bending and chipping and what if you are in a situation that its all you have would you rather have a 2 $ knife with you ? or a quality blade that you can put your life opon
