paul..i want to do animation someday. i don't have the right software though. i've tried stop motion but i'm not the best at it. i like stop motion alot. just think, 'Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer' and those old animation vids were done that way. That took time and plenty of patience.

yeah, i love stop motion too.. I haven't had the chance to do any for a while though. Animation is just a case of playing around and learning what works and what doesn't. You should have another stab I reckon.. If you do, search youtube for how to videos. I think Indymogel (spelling?) did some good ones.

Thanks... on behalf of big red button (link in description). they directed it and got all of us animators in on the project. You weren't imagining things.. butt grabbing did occur. I think all cartoon characters involved were over 18 and consenting.

It was for last year's Radar festival and was directed by a two-man production co, Big Red Button (details in the description). They roped in a bunch of us animators and split the scenes up accordingly. I think everyone was pleased with how it came together in the end!

It was a bit of a mish mash as there were several animators working on it. I used after effects and photoshop, but i believe some used flash, and the opening and closing scenes were done in 3d software... I'd guess either 3DStudio max or maya. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
