@frankty67. Uli roth? Uli was playing from Fly To The Rainbow to Taken By Force. This is Mathias Jabs playing on the album Lovedrive. Mathias Jabs played every other songs exept for Michael Schenker playing in Coast To Coast, Lovedrive and Another Piece Of Meat.
I know Mathias and Micheal played on Lovedrive. Read my comment slowly.I wrote killer song from their best POST Uli Roth album,Lovedrive---POST means AFTER------ PRE means before.I meant After Uli left in 1978 Their 1st album without him LOVEDRIVE is their best album after he left.Though Mathius is a killer guitar player in his own right. Micheal,Uli and Mathiaus are all killer players in different styles.

You know, Steve Stevens is just a fucking GREAT guitarist, and he's written some of the most recognizable riffs in rock ~ Rebel Yell, White Wedding, not to mention NOT so recognizable, but EPIC riffs like Eyes Without a Face, & Flesh For Fantasy.
Anyway, I watched an interview where he was saying anybody can wank & noodle out some lead solos, but a great RHYTHYM riff is what makes a great song (he referred to Panama =).. like this song!! =)
@runthemachine yeah, I agree. I was watching a michael schenker live vid and i know what a great solo player he is but live you can see he can be a great rythm guitarist also, which is so important... Steve stevens is a cool guitarist btw
@avion9785 Yes you got it dudeThat rhythm under the solo IS unreal.....and for the first few seconds of it you don't know what the hell is going on. It's like the groove is up in the air for a bit till you figure out whats going on.
Till your brain settles on the lead or the rhythm.Or Both. Like when Mathius breaks into that lead on "piece of Meat."Its killer stuff....It's like how many albums still sound almost even better 35yrs after they first came out? LOVEDRIVE KILLS!!
when i was 11-12 i startedd liking rock so i said to get one disc with scorpions, i heared it and loved it ! it was oswm ! scorpions where my first favorite band and still like them ! they will remain in history forever !
This band had a song for every moment of my youth! As for me, they were definitely a big part of the "Sound-track of My Life!" And who didn't sit in class and draw the Scorpions logo on their Pee-Chee's...?
