You can find it in Health Food stores or maybe in an Indian grocery store. You can also try ginger tea. Just get fresh ginger, wash it and chop or grate it. Nursing career is all about cleaning people's asses. They are underappreciated as well as the Respiratory Therapists. It amazes me the knuckleheads who come here trashing one career over the other without no knowledge or clue, other than to say ' my mommy is a rn, nana na na'. Fucking cretins. No wonder this country's Healthcare system is going down the drains!

I am not a certified medical professional, but i have read if you consume milk or dairy other products it will cause excess nmucus build in your lungs.

Also drinks lots and lots of water this will help with your congestion

We may not use a lot of math but I use "fancy" arithmetic to calculate a Ve for a desired PaCo2 on my vents rather frequently. Also, some of these fancy schmancy vents have trouble adding and counting. Try calculating it out sometime. You might be suprised. It could also save you some embarrasment while sitting in front of a lawyer questioning your chart entry's. Take a look at your Resp care board disciplinary actions section. I consider it CE. The RCB's only aim is to burn you down. Be safe
