@nikos19971 Well ap and ad sion both will have different roles in the team so your point isn't really relevant. AP sion will jump in stun blow his shield destroy the squishy and GTFO whereas AD sion is more likely to keep the fight going pushing the enemies down. In my opinion i prefer AP Sion since it gives more utility to the team and people just run a way from you with your insane burst, especially with deathfire grasp.

@nikos19971 if there both at same farm/kills lategame maybe. but this rarely happens. ap sion easily farms his e with sheild and can easily get 3-4 kills in laning phase as solo top. ad sion can't farm well early game and it usualy drags him under late game. i just got out of game as ap sion vs ad sion and i 3 shot him with stun-sheild-lichbane proc lategame. i had around 3.5k hp and he had like 2k

As ap sion I level Q and W first having them both maxed on lvl 10 and doing 600 dmg with Q+W combo not counting any masteries and items into it, pretty much kills any squishie same lvl, if not- ignite. Taking Enrage early as up sion just to have it is a waste of ability point, better to max it after Q and W when you farm creeps like a crazy, in the end it gives you more hp than taking it earlier.

@eNvyxxKaoS hmm i'd like to try this out. my main champ is sion. if im ever losing and want a guaranteed win, i always pick him. i don't know why, he's not the greatest champ but i always do well with him. but i use the lichbane/deathcap combo first. RoA/Morello's sounds interesting.

@Trendy67  lol my build is much more standard now after i realised that CDR isn't TOO important on Sion. More stuns are good but my new build is more bursty w/ less DPS due to CDR and less tanky (RoA). it depends. But for that build (and my more "standard" one) i get 9-0-21 and mPen reds, Armor/mana regen/ hp per lvl yellows (i only have mana regen but the other two would be good as well,) AP/lvl blues if i had them, flat since i don't, and AP quints. As you can see, I am lacking in IP :P. GLHF!

@eNvyxxKaoS : Because the burst Kombo with lichbane is insane. Often in teamfight your shield gets destroyed, so lichbane adds 1 more nuke to your champ. You dont need RoA / Morello, since your e gives you a already a lot of hp on solo toplane and that additional mana is just way too much for Sion.

sion is my main for years now. my build starts with doras ring ofc, magic pene boots rod of age-lich bane-deathfire grasp (really important).. thats for his dmg. If you need more ap go for rabadons, if you need survability take warmogs or fon if they have heavy ap team.. thats all :)

i say that the main reason why most people don't like Sion is becuase they play him like an AD carry, maxing out their e and w before q thinking that the extra damage is more valuable on him. I played against one Sion that didn't even have his stun until level 13 or 14 I think and was stacking AD and health with no mana or ap items, didn't work out for him with a score of 2/8/5

I like the idea behind Sion but I don't like how his Q and W skills are for AP build while his E and ulti are more beneficial in an AD build. He seems to be more of a support damage/tank char than anything. Also I wonder if the hp he gains with his E skill is permanent, it seems to me he loses it all upon death or am I wrong? I didn't play him much, but I would love to but I think they need to change him to become more appealing.

@Teheleri Here's the thing.. If his "Q" and "W" scaled with AD, that would be op, atleast imo. And his "E" are great for AP and for AD, if you go AP , you'll get so much farm, and thanks to "E" you get really tanky. As AD, You'll get a good amount of farm ( Making you tanky ) Plus some extra damage. And "R" is useless for AP sion, but pretty good when pushing towers, or when you just need some extra heals/Damage. "R". I dont know what's the best way him tho. And the stun is great for ad aswell!
