Honestly, hybriding is not broken... it's just not as good at high levels... check these stats:

86 cb.

65 atk

83 str

45 def

99 mage

84 range

tell me that can't hybrid with d bolts, whip/dds, mystic top/bottom and rune legs/black dhide body/torso...

actually, it's mostly just that barrage rapes at under 90 combat.
