Interesting fact: The guy who played Hitler in the Last Crusade was in reality married to a Jewish woman. He made a career out of playing the German dictator.

Why would I want to sit through a shot for shot handycam remake (by kids) of a great film like Raiders? It's noce that they love the film and all, but seriously. A total waste of time.
This is not a movie for philistines and nimrods. The point is that it's inspiring that a bunch of kids put in such hard work, it was never intended to have better production value than the actual film. If you don't get it or can't appreciate a movie with cheapo production value, there's no reason to shit all over it, just move along and go see Good Luck Chuck.
no, the filming something that would make Orson Welles production of Othello look like a Roger Corman quickie. The class room scene early on shows this best: starting out the actor playing Indy is a child, it cuts to a reaction shot of a female student and when it cuts back the actor playing Indy has gone through puberty -- physically larger and deeper voice - and then it cuts to another shot, he's a child again.
I was at both origional screenings, the one where Eli Roth just showed the first half of the movie and then a year or so later when the filmmakers came to Austin, TX to a special screening hosted by Aint It Cool News.
A once in a lifetime movie experience we have been blessed to see.
This is really not a trailer. It's more of a teaser. It barely shows anything. Half of it's white titles on a black background. Disappointing.

Google the Vanity Fair article about this from a few years ago. It has a lot of detail on the making of the movie and interviews the makers.

Has anyone posted this film on YouTube or any of the other video sites?
I wish it could have been released on DVD but I'm sure if they had done that Paramount would have gone after them and sued them blind.

You could say the making of the movie aged him 6 years...

Wait... they started filming when they were 12 and finished it up at 18? So Indy gets progressively older throughout the film or what?
