  • Keep on Gaiting, may be they will see more and more gaiting horses. Good luck to ya. Nice horse!

  • Thanks! We moved to a different state and don't do that open show series anymore, but Apache is still a wonderful gaited ambassador wherever we go! He has also improved by leaps and bounds since this video was shot years ago and was still very young.

  • Yeah I understand thats the way my horses are (not gaited, but always want to go)

  • When they said Trot on in and line up It looked like Slow gaiting and another horse catering :)

  • It was an open show, where I had the only gaited horse, so they called for walk-trot-canter in the park pleasure classes. Since my horse doesn't trot under saddle, I just gaited when they asked for trot. I went to this open show series a lot so they were used to us. After a while, they actually would start calling for trot or gait, but this show was before that happened. As for the cantering horse, that lady had trouble with that horse the entire class. It was all wired up and just wanted to go.
