  • Rallispec is where you got the motor from? I am looking to buy a new motor for my 05 STi in about a year, so I am just starting my research.

  • 93octane will fuk your motor.the sti are tuned in japan on 100 octane.if your running anything less that 98 your fuking your motor,im from new zealand.every single turbo car he etha runs bp 98 octane or if its tuned on e85 octane.93 octane is lower that shell 95.atleast try use that or youl be build a new motor very very shortly

  • @kayll007 Octane ratings calculate different from country to country. The US uses Anti-Knock Index (AKI), whereas New Zealand and Japan use Research Octane Number (RON). 93 in the US is not the same as 93 in New Zealand. 98 RON Octane (New Zealand) = 93 AKI Octane (US measure). 87, 89, 91 and 93 are the norm here. Learn something before you run your mouth.

  • All show and no go;... four! lol

  • @e85STi Yes, No go on a break in tune.. However I did get to 15psi today on the break in as recommended by Rallispec, going WOT on the last 5 pulls to 4500rpm. Tune will be coming soon enough. 93oct only this time around.

  • Congrats!
