i would really like to learn the anglo language properly so i could use it normally to spin peeps out mabie use it in a cornershop then refuse to speak anougher language or would that be racist when the shoe is on the other foot? lol i dunno

The low land scots that speak "scots" are actually germanic descended from the anglo-saxons (hence the english like language) and the highland ones are gaels. So actually lowland scots are relatives of the english. And the Welsh are the only remaining brythonic celts, the original Britons. The gaels came from Ireland and the Enlgish are germanic.
It's a pity that so many churches and cathedrals lay in beautiful ruins due to so many wars and invasions which were destroyed mainly during the Viking Era.
