Europe always adopted American musicians and public had more perception and respect to fine arts and Jazz :) Dizzy , Miles , Sonny Rollinz , Coltraine , Brecker Brothers , all of theme did it in Europe first then for some fancy critics in NY probably finally recognized in their mother land

This is German TV!! Why don't we have something like this in America? JAZZ is a American style of music, and it is a shame that other cultures have embraced it more that our culture, what a shame we in the States are force fed a musical diet of American Idol crap with a side dish of Justin Bubble-Head, and Lady Ka Ka, and other tasteless and talentless acts created by record companies who's main purpose is to make money, not make art. Music is a form of art.
