Yeah. As a self-loathing "Red Stater" or what the fuck ever, the first time I met New Yorkers, actually East Coasters inparticular, I was surprised at how stand off-ish and mostly Conservative and totally indifferent they were. I had much of the same reaction as Bill did, being we're both from the Subburban cities of the South.
What a rare gift this great man was. A man full of love and utterly authentic. So inspirational.

Len Belzer was clearly respectful of Bill and someone Bill liked. I enjoyed his interviews more than any of the others Bill did.

my only thought is that, its kinda cut in places hicks get into the interview and goe's hard (let's say...) at new yorkers or outher people...
