I've never messed with a slinky-like hoop before so I wouldn't know the difficulty level. But as far as free flowing hula hoops I would know how hard it is to keep them up.. Some people don't have the coordination to move their body two or 3 different ways to keep they hoops rotating around the core (you) and also keep it off the ground.
Jin lin cheated here and on the world record in 2007 - she unfairly and against Guinness rules used a "Strung Hoop set"- hoops all strung together with FISHING LINE on :07 though :10 you can see the strings sticking out on the lower left side.

I dont use those strung sets because it is against Guinness rules. it is against guinness rules because it makes it easy. I dont have to do the cheating way because I can do it legit. that's why I have the record and am in this years book and that's why her records were rejected by guinness. Wetten Das is NOT Guinness, they might allow cheats because it still makes good TV if no one finds out.

i have watched a biography video about this girl, actually she is very very very hard working and sacrifice a lot for beating in the guiness competition. As you know, many chinese ppl live in a quite harsh condition but just for having a living, she thought hula loops can make her become more unique and competing in the world, coz no one like to take this challenge. @annwanganan Yes I agree with you . She dedicated her whole life to work with it but her skills are not normal otherwise she can't reach this level. Actually without any doubt she's the number 1 in the world (many persons call her "circle dance dea" or queen of hoops) and i think anybody (maybe also in the future) can compete with her approaching her record. From many years she can compete only with herself breaking world guinness record twice by year. Unbelievable

Ich verbessere mich trotzdem mal. Das Gesamtgewicht der 280 Ringe liegt bei 21 Kg. Das macht pro Ring genau 75g und die Ringe bestehen aus dünnen Aluminiumdrähten. Das erklärt das Gewicht, zumindest bedingt.
