You meant to ask how he got the baseball bat? The baseball bat is a downloadable content only exclusive to the L4D2 pre-ordered copy from GameStop. If one person in the party has the baseball bat code redeemed, then the whole party gets it.

I actually have a lot of trouble with the machine guns. I find shotguns make it a lot easier.

mmm... i think it depends on the type of machine gun. For fast non-stop running, i recomend the "millitary" burst machine gun :D.
