  • Thanks. I just found out about the Tenease and wanted to hear a user's experience. I've dealt with TE off and on for 26 years. When it flares up, rest, ice, wrist curls forward & backward for exercise helps. The biggest help though is wearing a TE band that puts a little pressure on the tendon just below the elbow. When flared, I will wear one almost constantly. Best to you in your healing.

  • I have been suffering for almost 12 months now. I have had 2 cortisone shots but the relief is only temporary. I am in physical therapy now. Te next treatment they want to try is platelet therapy. Is that what you are referring to when you say PRP? If so did it work for you?

  • @mokers23 I DO NOT think the PRP (platelet rich injection) was what cured me. I just stayed completely off of my arm for 3 months. I am an extreme overuse case. Did you get your injury from using it past the point of pain? If so you might need to rest. I didn't want to rest and that is how mine got so bad. read this site and just take some time off life. I am so sorry this is happening to you. It was the worst thing that has happened to me so far.

Google "harvard RSI action" and read that site.

  • Hi there, how did you get the problem?, I have it from overuse from a pen and tablet - I tried this too - crap.

Going to see an orthopedic surgeon now in a week or two.

  • man :( i feel ur pain ive had it for like 6 months now 2 its gettin worst FUCKIN HATE IT :@! i dont even know what 2 do ders like no 1 solution ! 2 healing dis problem :@! keep us updated man and wasup wid prolotheraphy?

  • I am still slowly recovering. Just stay the hell off of it. I mean to the extreme. I had to stop ANY activity that wasn't necessary for day to day function. I don't think the shot actually helped me in retrospect. I can do some basics like cook and clean for a meal or two a day but I am still limited.

  • Thanks for posting this Ryan. Good info. Do you have an update? I've had TE for 6 months now, and so far one month of physical therapy and a few acupuncture treatments don't seem to be helping.

  • @FIXWCBCANADA

You message got cut off. I am curious to hear what it said.

  • Total relapse for me. I will update when I can.

    REST!

  • Pls let us know if you have any progress

  • Keep us posted.
