Cool song, Eric! I've always liked folk-rock. This has a 1970s folk song vibe to it. I can relate to being lost and love your sailing imagery in the lyrics. Keep it up, man! Thanks for sharing your music! :-)

Awesome! I have listened to a few of your songs and this one really stands out. The vocals and guitar could not be in better harmony, and the lyrics are great. It describes where I am at right now, in the middle of life's crossroads.

I think this might be my favorite of yours so far. I hope you don't mind comparisons, but some of the vocal patterns made me think of They Might Be Giants. Or maybe its just that 90's sound.

thanks and yes, I love comparisons. in fact, I am reading a book now entitled, "You Brain on Music" and it talks about how we naturally cannot help but make comparisons betweens songs. I am also a TMBG fan too, so maybe its all subconscious on my part. nonetheless, I have always liked this song best as well.

Thats cool, I know that some artists don't like comparisons. But on the whole I think most do, to an extent.
That sounds like an interesting book, I'll have to look it up.

"Music,The Brain and Ecstasy" has some pretty interesting neuroscience.. Can't tell you the author at the moment coz it's out on loan.
