  • At :30, you did something on the keyboard that made the images show up. What was it? It looked like you switched to top ortho, but when I did that the pictures still weren't there. any help would be amazing cuz I really wanna get started modeling from images! Thank yew.

  • my image inst showing up, when i say add image then select it and the appropiate faces it doesnt do anything, help plz?

  • how do you import an image to blender 2.5? run it through me step by step. There's no audio on this video so otherwise i wouldnt be asking.

  • But how can I add a movie background? I've searched like everywhere now but couldn't find a (video) tutorial for it.

  • @Leto85 I know only one way to do this, but I'm sure there is different way.

Add a big plane behind your objects and set texture type "Image or movie". Probably you have to set up some things, but this is the idea. Good luck :)

  • @LordSihhe Thanks! I've found such a movie which explains kind off how to do that.

  • @Leto85 You've probably found out already but new blender now lets you add a movie as BG image

  • @sierraduke No, I didn't. Thanks. When I need it, I will YT search my needed tut, if I failed diving into self learning it.

  • Perfect! Thank you, this was the one thing I could not figure out as the tutoral I am using is for an older version.

  • thanks!

  • I did everything you just did. my image is just not coming up. I changed all the views around to try and find the thing but its just not there! It is making me very frustrated!! do i have a bug or am i just missing something small? I am ready to PUNCH something!

  • @krisandliana

  • @LordSihhe THANK YOU!!! I was having the same problem trying to get the dang picture to come up. I'm a new user, and these videos help so immensely :)

  • Even tho i use the latest blender update why is it i am to restricted to camera view to see the image?

  • @mobilefreek

    1. make sure background image is set to view you want

    2. make sure view is set to orthogonal instead of perspective

  • @LordSihhe It worked thanks!

  • @LordSihhe

Thank you for sharing :) For those who wonder, press numpad 5 to switch between perspective and orthogonal view.

  • No matter how many images I save and in what format, I cannot find them in Blender.

  • If you can't see the image after selecting it from your png files, just choose "camera" view and voila! That's it!

  • if you can't see the image hit 5 on the numpad to change from perspective

  • @azsxw2 thanks!

  • @keaton4258 yep

  • i do all those steps and it refuses to show the images, what is going on here?

  • nvm i found out i had to change it to ab=nother persp.
