  • what's the name of the song that plays throughout the video? I've been trying to find it & I can't.

  • has anyone ever tell u that you resemble beyonce

  • @bxcutie4life2007 your the second person, i get Solange more but i honestly dont think i look like any of them lol

  • I totally agree! We have a similar hair texture, (just that your hair is thicker/fuller) and people always ask what products I'm using to 'grow my hair fast' lol I don't buy expensive products...I use cheap stuff I can get at the super market and stick with it.

  • y'all pretty much have all the same products (treseme, aussie, cream of nature, etc)as we do here in the US that's neat:-)

  • can you please do a tutorial on your 2 strand twists in this video? PLEASE! :)

  • If i may ask, do you use the whipped shea butter to moisturize/ style? And is that the only moisturizer you use?

  • are you Ghanaian? Heard Eazy and thought whaaaow another cute Ghanaian natural! keep it up :o)

  • This may sound like a stupid question but if you deep condition with the cholesterol what do you use the other conditioners for? Detangling and co washing? How often do you co wash?

  • @spimdlh i use them for detangling... i hardly co-wash but when i do i use those conditioners

  • @FusionofCultures Thanks x

  • Cantu works great for all my hairstyles. Be careful, it will leave build up if used with other products like moisturizers or gels. However, I do find that this product works even better when used with an oil. I specifically use raw shea butter oil. Both scents combined makes me smile. Can't wait to see your upcoming bc.

  • @cjmoe87 oh thank you, i bc's almost 5 months ago :)

  • Hey you know your shampoo's and conditioners are they good to use whilst transitioning? I shall be using them soon alongside coconut oils and stuff x

  • @HerMusicOnline yh they can :)

  • ure Ghanaian?

  • @shakira883 yes ma'am

  • TRESemmé is is about £1 something in wilkinsons... :)

  • @BabiGurl88 right now???? :)

  • hey can i have the name of this song?

  • 1 pound is equivalent to how much in U.S dollar.stuff in London sound cheap.

  • @Myrlourah one pound is the equivalent of one dollar but trust me stuff aint cheap. the same way you guys have dollar stores we have pound stores.

  • @FusionofCultures o ok,

  • I love your hair channel and the fact that you live in London too! Do you know where I could get cantu Shea butter in england?

  • @rumbi97 hey girl, i got it from my local hair shop.. check around. most places have it

  • @rumbi97 they have it in Pak's at finsbury park.

  • I've been trying to find the herbal essences long term relationship leave-in here in London but I can't get hold of it. I've tried boots and superdrugs but neither of them have it....Help?!?!?! x

  • @DatSmile1 hey, over here its called beautiful ends. i got my one from the states thats why its LTR

  • @DatSmile1 hey I purchased it from Tescos. Hehe they had it on 3 for 2 when I last checked

  • :o Where did you buy your eco styler gel from?

  • @ohxchummy most hair shops have it... the small one is 99p

  • Hi, your videos are great. I wanted to know if you put anything on your scalp on a regular basis?

  • @cmcandys no i dont, i fell out of the habit but my scalp is in good condition .... when i remember i use an oil

  • Hi there, wondered how you liked the cantu shea treatment? I love it especially as a deep conditioner (made a vid) and then as a leave in when i feel my daily hair needs some strengthening. Hope it works well for you as there are a lot of mixed reviews on this product.

  • The Cantu Leave-In is my staple leave-in. I use this followed with a bit of shea butter and coconut oil mixed in my hand (to seal) and then style for a braid or twist out. Works like a charm every time. Hope you have favorable results as well. Good Luck!! :)

  • i can barely hear and pay attention to you for your music is distracting. it kind of takes away from your videos. i don't know if its too loud or something.

  • Heya, where did you get HE long term relationship in the UK?

I know we have "beautiful ends" which I have heard is the same as LTR, but i'm not sure?

  • what's the name of this song?

  • @ThePassionx4xmusic Eazzy - Bo wonsem ma me

  • What's this song called? I really like it,

  • @ikimonogakari2 Eazzy - Bo wonsem ma me

  • I use the Cantu Shea Butter Leave-In, I prefer it just for Deep Conditioning. I'll be trying it on some twist outs soon, a little goes a long way, but it smells SO good! I have some videos up of me using it if you'd like to know how I use it :)

  • @Fdowns7620 thank you :o)

  • What does an apple cider vinegar rinse do for our hair and how do you combat its strong smell after you're done? Thanks!

  • @DynamicRunner i use it after shampoo & condish... leave it for about 5mins then rinse with cold water.... AVC will help balance the pH of your hair and remove the buildup, it will also close the numerous cuticle scales which cover and protect the surface of each hair shaft. This imparts a smoother surface which reflects more light and as a result leaves your hair shinier, smoother and easier to manage.

  • Thank you so much for responding! I've added your comment to my Nappy Notes about hair care, lol! I haven't tried an ACV rinse all over my head before. Does it leave an odor?

  • @DynamicRunner nope... it goes away :o) you should try it

  • i have a question i wanted to know more about u rinsing your hair with apple cider vinger.. what does it help? and how to apply it and when to apply befor or after shampo and conditioning the hair please get back with me thamks:)

  • @antakeisha10 i use it after shampoo & condish... leave it for about 5mins then rinse with cold water.... AVC will help balance the pH of your hair and remove the buildup, it will also close the numerous cuticle scales which cover and protect the surface of each hair shaft. This imparts a smoother surface which reflects more light and as a result leaves your hair shinier, smoother and easier to manage.

  • p.s. cantu shea works great for me. advice: use on damp/wet, clean hair; a little goes a long way; use with oils (best with evco in my opinion) or a shea butter mix ONLY. pros: creates defined, shiney styles... best braid outs, twists outs ever :) cons: does contain protein if that is a matter of concern for you, can cause build up therefore do not apply to the scalp and must shampoo regularly (i.e. weekly).. clean, healthy scalp=growth. hope it works for you! blessings x

  • @neeneneema THANK YOU!!!! just what i needed lol.. i used it to twist my hair today :o)

  • Tresemme conditioners on sale for less than 2 pounds gets me doing cartwheels down the isles :) buy by the litre... LUV!

  • You know, you can get your coconut oil *much* cheaper from asda or tesco in their "asian" sections. It's something like 99p for the tub.

  • @PennyDoll hey girl... what i use is organic extra virgin so it has all it's nutrients and full benefits = unrefined

But the one your referring to is refined, bleached and deodorized so it doesn't actually give you any benefits besides being an oil, that's why it's much cheaper .

  • whats the name of the song please ?

  • Cantu is the truth!!!! I love it!!!!!

  • @09HaitianPrincess hope it's the truth for me too! i just love the smell

  • I <3 Cantu Shea Butter Leave-In.. I've been using it for the past 3 years (since I've been natural). I use it as a leave-in for virtually every style I do in my hair, lol. it's the most moisturizing leave in out there.

  • @herSUNchime i think i'm gonna love it too :o) been trying it on the back of my hair where i cut it lol

  • @VanessaAraba i just fill the gaps in with a brown brow pencil

  • I've been using the Cantu Shea Butter leave in and it is great! It's light, smells great and it's really moisturizing!

  • @shakiylam13 thanx for sharing.... i hope it works for me too

  • What's the name of this song? good beat

  • @Onegurrrlrev Eazzy - Bo wonsem ma me

  • Really wow because most people move to another country for so long and the intend to forget their native language. i'm glad you still know it.:)

  • @anafi90 it's important to me... and i'll be passing it on to my kids

  • @FusionofCultures Thats good and if God permits i plan on doing the same with my kids too.:)

  • You're big chopping Woohooo. I'll be snipping too in a couple of weeks!!! I had enough of transitiong... 3yrs is long enough. I'm definitely coming to you for style inspiration though because as you know, i'm just so darn boring with my hair. I cant wait to see your beautiful hair in all its glory!!!

  • @herlucidsky My transition Inspiration!!! honestly if it wasn't for you i wouldn't have thought that 2 years was even possible . Your just amazing and i can not wait for your bc. Your hair is so beautiful !!!! xoxo

  • @FusionofCultures awww xoxoxoxoxo

  • I used to use the cantu shea butter leave in I ran out and havent purchased more oh yeah because its 5+ dollars here and I can't afford to spend that much on something that I use liberally but it was a good product it left my hair very moisturized and if i remember correctly it controlled my frizz a good bit :-) hope this helps oh yeah by the way I totally agree with the not spending much on your hair for it to grow you are not a cheapskate at all :-) God bless

  • @aubjones1 You know what i'd been seeing it round here for 5+ pounds too so i wasn't about to buy it at all lol..... but i was with my friend and walked into some random BSS there it was for 3:49... lol

  • @gossipgirl3333 great! i look forward to trying it

  • I hope its ok for me to ask u this question, do you speak twi, because i do and when i heard the background music i was wondering if u did?lol and also how do you use your whipped shea butter in your hair and do u think it is good to use it as a daily moisturizer? thank you.:)

  • @anafi90 yes i do :o) i use my shea butter for everything! all the time.... styler, moisturiser and so on

  • oooh! didnt know u were ghanaian

  • @afrakomahateshaters yes my friend! GH all the day lol

  • @FusionofCultures yess for GH. lol, i love ur videos btw

  • I checked out the Cantu Shea Butter Leave-In, but it has a chemical in it called BHT (I think that's what it is) which I've heard horrific things about. I've heard it mimics estrogen and is found in many of the plastics that our foods are packaged in . It is apparently causing havic, particularly effecting the testosterone level of boys. Since I have a son, I opted for something else. (Bet you wanted to know all that, huh? :-))

  • @lanicert lol WOW! okay... i'll look into it. thank you

  • How did I miss that you had a new vid out?! Watching now!

  • I have been using the Cantu Shea Butter Leave-In , ever since i started transitioning * 9 months tomorrow :-) * personally i like it, it has a very nice smell , leaves my hair smooth, its feels moisturized. I use it along with my Africa's Best Heral Oil to moisturize and seal.

  • @mshyness thank you :o)

  • I like to use the cantu shea butter leave-in for my two strand twist outs. It helps define my curl pattern and it holds my curls. The only thing I don't like is it makes my hair hard but not too hard. I love the smell too!

  • @CharminglyPink thanx for sharing :o)

  • I'm really excited for your BC! (As if it's mine or something...lol) You have great patience...I was going to transition for 2 years after I found your channel...but I got super impatient and BCed a month ago at 8 months post.

  • @trinity76va Firstly! congrats on your BC :o) i'm excited too lol

  • Honestly, I just big chopped and I HATE the cantu shea butter leave in repair cream. ultra moisturizing but it leaves white dots in my hair and they flake and fall out like dandruff -_-

  • @tashalak i've heard it doesn't mix well with other products and that's what happens.

  • how many months post relaxer are you?

  • @wallsbrandie 24months

  • This may sound odd but I'm actually really excited for your big chop next week =)

  • Where the heck did you find Creme of Nature and such large containers of conditioner?

  • @imacdiva lol... i think i bought the creme of nature from paks but the condishs are from savers

  • ha i had a feeling u were gh girl, cool!

    i like that song.

  • @Ladyyvee me too!

  • btw, are you ghanaian?

  • I love your brows Lai! I need to try out Tresseme.

  • @CourtneyToneya thanx girl! smh if only you could see them right now. I'm trying to grow them out. But defo give tress a try :o)

  • When I was transitioning, I sweared by the cantu. It was great for roller sets/wraps, twist/braid outs, to use as any styling aid period! Not only did it smell good but it left my hair soft and full of volume and body. It also helped to hold any style for a good amount of time too. BUT... after I BC'd it did nothing for my hair :( Hopefully you will b able to find use for it after ur BC! let us know how it works for you :)

  • @HiSnAtUrAlAnGeL i will do :o) and thanx for sharing

  • can you do a tutorial on how you do your eyebrows?

  • @gibel13 yes i will

  • I love tresseme naturals also the moisture rich is the one you are right the smell is lovely! I got mine for £2.50 900 ml. I saw some in Paks in Peckham a few weeks back the lustrasilk I mean. I so cannot wait for you BC.

  • OMG!!!! I FREAKIN LOVE YOUR ACCENT!! I COULD LISTEN TO YOU TALK ALL DAY!! OH YEAH LOVE YOUR HAIR AS WELL!!

  • It's all about swarzkopf oil nutritive shampoo!! I looooove that shampoo! Plus the fact that is usually in poundland for yes....? A pound! I think its much better than some of that overpriced stuff out there.. Lord knows I've tried them.

  • @Ketchup38 Yup! A new 99p store stocks it near my house! Im gonna try it!!!

  • @Ketchup38 lol... yes girl... i get mine from sam 99 for just that... 99p! love the stuff

  • Great video. I tried a twist out and OMG it came out super cute in the front but the back of my hair did not take for some reason andn it still looked nappy. Have you experienced this? Oh and does your hair shed a lot when you do your twist outs? Mine does for some reason ;-(

  • @eshon2008 because of my relaxed ends i dont really do twist out like that but generally i dont experience excessive shedding ... perhaps your hair isn't moisturised enough. Try black tea rinses... it helps with shedding

  • great vid,love your hair

  • @sweetbee06 thank you

  • omg! the song is by a ghanaian person because in the begining i definately heard twi in there. bo wu ensam ma mi. meaning clap your hands for me! this excited me for some reason!!!! XD
