i like how the clean vocals are a little sporadic, very similar to the guitars. It will be kind of low and it will go up really quick, and come back down. its a refreshing dynamic. The growls are great. I was hooked the instant i heard this band.

i've an axe fx and vht 2/50/2 too, but i can't get a good sound out. the preamp with my adam monitors sounds good. quite strange.

@AlexisGitarre Turn power amp and cab simulation off when you put it through the VHT? My patches for the vht are completely different to my direct patches.

I don't get it either I love the vocals that's what makes the Safety Fire the Safety Fire. I love bothe the clean and dirty vocals. The cleans have a very interesting choice in melody and harmony. The dirty vocals sound so raw and angry, and like you mentioned different from all the other same old screams.

For what we are doing at the moment, definitely the rack setup. Makes a lot more sense for our live show and is so easy to setup and dismantle, not to mention crushing tone with all the fx I would ever need!

It's standard tuning with the Big E string tuned down to A an octave down from the other A. Basically tune your guitar to standard an drop the E string until it's an octave down from your A string.
