there is a venue for these things ,its called a church. people go to that church to hear the sermons. that is their right, it is afforded us in the constitution. going to a concert doesn't mean people are wicked it simply means they want to go hear some music and listen to their preacher. just because you want to bring your message and religious belief in your mind is righteous. shouldn't trump other peoples belief that it isn't. simple case of disturbing the peace, no matter what the content is

The Police were the ones that were violating that mans right for freedom of speech (1st Ammendment) The whole point of Freedom of speech is allowing people to speek their opinion. They would NOT need a "Freedom of Speech" Law if everyone aggreed on everything. @rmarcontell disturbing the peace... lol... if they were worried about excessive yelling which is per definition "excessive noise, especially in a residential area, such as by operation of any tool, equipment, vehicle, electronic device, set, instrument, television, phonograph, machine or other noise- or sound-producing device." If that was the case then all the police had to do was ask them to quiet down first as opposed to arresting. I think it was an error of respect on both parties.

Just because someone says something offensive, does not give the "authorities" the right to arrest you. Look at it this way, if we all agreed on the same thing, would it need to be protected? One thing I learned today: no need for human laws, we're under the power of peace and love. And sometimes people intentionally break laws, intentionally spark a confrontation, and argue on and on just because they like to argue. Not because the gospel could be heard in a church, with a group of believers, peacefully on a corner, but no, needs to be where the population is at it's max. needs to be with a loudspeaker. needs to argue with law enforcement. after all, its peace and love.
