I have had heart palpitations after eating certain foods and started seeing a correlation between eating bread and soup and the heart racing so I did a search and sure enough its causing my problems,they are trying to kill us!
@nothingelse83 For a list of the hidden names for MSG, please check out the text section located below Part 4. In addition, check out the websites listed there as well.
@HwoarangtheBoomerang The best way to avoid MSG is to stop consuming processed foods. Since this may be impratical, avoiding MSG's hidden names is the next best thing. For a list of the hidden names for MSG, please check out the text section located below my MSG video, Part 4.
okay so my wife no longer breast feeds and our 1 1/2 year old son doesnt like cow milk, so he drinks formula, what alternatives can I give him, I can just feed him rice and bread all day long.

When you smoke your first cigarette you would probably cough. After a while you get used to it. This doesn't mean its no longer harmful. If you are not sensitive to msg it probably means your consuming too much.
My stepmother let me put this in my coffee letting me think it was a sugar substitute, I'm sure she thought it was funny, she knew exactly what it was, I had no idea. I just found out this evening what some of the affects could be in gradual doses, I put a teaspoon full in my coffee, she also has a medical background, all due to jealousy over my mother.
I have rather severe Asperger's syndrome, which is a form of autism, yet I don't seem to experience any detrimental effects from MSG. It's strange because I'll sometimes add a large dose of pure MSG crystals to my food and it'll make it taste unbelievably good, yet no matter how much I add, I feel 100% fine afterward. I guess it might be because I exercise a lot and take various supplements on a daily basis. Still, the people in this video make some pretty broad generalizations about MSG.
Before you ask, no, there hasn't been any decline in my intelligence since I started using MSG. My grades have been as high as ever since I began occasionally adding sprinkles of MSG to my food. I'm actually happy I've discovered this chemical due to the immense improvement it makes in the amount of food I eat. I have a very poor appetite so it helps me eat adequate amounts of food when I'm otherwise unable to take so much as a bite. Of course, I only use it when I absolutely need to
Nah, I've been doing a little research on MSG and I've decided to quit. Sure it feels good to eat MSG-laced food, but it also feels good to shoot up heroin and meth, which is obviously a terrible idea, as is using MSG. I'm a biochemistry major after all, and I can't risk damaging my brain cause god knows I need to use 100% of it to succeed in this program.
Maybe, maybe not... I've quit using MSG anyway, but for whatever reason, I haven't felt any negative effects when I WAS using it. I'm just saying that to me, it doesn't seem nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Millions of people consume it on a daily basis without any problems, it only seems to be dangerous if it's used in excess.
for real?...cause i've seen a shit load of tiny skinny ass asians who are geniuses and they put that shit in almost everything and have most likely consumed msg since before they can even remember
@NONGGOYJAA The diet of most Americans consists of processed food, junk food and animal based foods such as meat and dairy products. When MSG added to this kind of food, weight gain and other health issues are inevitable.
For the Asian people who eat mostly rice, vegetables and fish the effects of MSG won't be as bad. The healthy effects of such a diet will counteract the harmful effects of MSG.
Please check out the text area located below to this video.
This would be a lot more credible if you cut the crap out with Pat Robertson, as he is a notoriously-known imbecile and his input in any matter is utterly irrelevant.
I watched as my 40 year old mother’s health slowly degraded over a 10 year period (asthma, arthritis, migraines, fibromyalgia,) ending in a massive allergic reaction. An extensive autopsy showed that she was allergic to MSG and its derivates. As more MSG was added to products over time she just got worse. I wander how many others suffering similar symptoms could have the same cause.
@pryml in our part if the world people usually don't care if something is unnatural they just care about taste you can break it down and explain what they are eating is killing them the most common response "it tastes good" or "we are all going to die anyway" I have heard of ways to natural cure a lot of things but some would be more difficult than changing the diet and taking herbs. I do agree with you on naturally curing the body though.
Msg can also be under natural flavors. It's very annoying because even products that say no msg do actually contain it under a different name, most commonly "natural flavors" or "hydrolyzed" anything. The USDA considers it "natural" because indeed msg occures naturally in some foods like overly ripe tomatoes but you want to stay away from the processed msg because it is man made.
@ligon15 Some of the most toxic substances are made "naturally". Whether a compound is produced naturally in tomatoes or processed by man is irrelevant — the atomic structure of the compound will be the same, and so to its effects, in either case. It is just a single compound, if it were to change in any way when manufactured by man, then it'd no longer be the same compound.
@Boy192 MSG is a neurotoxin! The dangers and toxicity of MSG are very well explained in the film Sweet Misery, which can be viewed on youtube. Start watching at 34:00 into the film for more details regarding the effects on the brain as well as the toxicity of MSG.
1) A university professor told us in class that MSG causes reticulation of the brain... based on independent university study. This must be why it causes headaches.
2) Also my sister and her group conducted an experiment in college on the effects of MSG on houseflies... Conclusion: Holes developed on the flies' wings after a few days of feeding on MSG.
The excitotoxin MSG plays a role in some nervous system disorders such as: ALS (Lou Gehrigh's Disease). Is best to avoid it as much as possible.
Read labels on foods to ensure that it is not contained. Take Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA), a broad spectrum anti-oxidant which neutralizes & scavenges far more free radicals than Vitamin C & E combined! Used in Germany to treat wide age related diseases (heart disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s, strokes, diabetes & insulin resistance).
Free energy is finaly here!But the coverup is very strong,Get a motor that works with the power of magnets only at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Big change is comming soon!
ALS patients lack the ability to handle these toxins and fall into a cycle of chronic nerve damage. Everyone should take care to avoid direct exposure to toxins. Limit use of pesticides, herbicides & never handle them w/o gloves. Don’t use any chemicals, like paint, in a poorly ventilated area. Eat plenty of fruits & vegetables to keep the liver’s ability to detoxify optimized. Stay well hydrated w/water. Avoid artificial sweeteners, MSG, even if the FDA insist is safe!
Again, you have yet to provide any evidence that MSG...
A) is a poison/toxin/neurotoxin.
B) is a cause of Alzheimer's disease and/or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
Meanwhile, I can point to plenty of independent studies that demonstrate that MSG is no more harmful than table salt is. The Wikipedia entry for MSG has multiple citations in the footnotes section that you can read yourself, and you can view the FDA's GRAS list online where they list why it is approved as safe.
Thank you Dr. Russell Blaylock M.D., for making us aware of "MSG", because the public does not know the potential dangers of this toxic "flavor enhancing" food additive, which is in most of our foods. Many times disguised under other names to mislead public. MSG (and it's derivatives) is a NEUROTOXIN, causing damage to the brain...The reason why Alzeimers & Lou Gehrigs Disease is growing...
MSG is neither toxic, nor is it a neurotoxin. It has potential excitotoxicity, but this requires massive doses, to the point of needing to ingest a huge amount of pure MSG in order to build up enough glutamate to reach a dangerous level. There's no way an adult would be able to consume anywhere near a dangerous level of glutamate even by spending a day binging on only junk foods - there's only tiny amounts of it in food.
It's not the chemical that kills, it's the dosage.
You can also die of water poisoning for example, but we'd never claim water is somehow toxic. If you ingest too much of the stuff at once, you experience adverse effects, just like anything else, like salt. In the case of things like water and MSG, it's far more than anyone would ever consume normally, so the only way you'd realistically be able to overdose on either is if you were trying to on purpose.
So you'd argue then that chemotherapy drugs are all bad because they're poisonous at elevated doses, even though at controlled levels they're lifesaving drugs? Any credible physician or chemist will tell you what I've told you: it's not the chemical, it's the dosage that counts.
Take Tylenol - at the recommended dosage, you get a good response in the form of getting rid of a headache. At doses that dangerously exceed that amount, and you could die. Does this make Tylenol a poison?
@thrustfang No, I never said anything was "all" bad. That isn't logical. What I said was that it wasn't the chemical or the dosage that kills. A high dosage of a chemical sitting on a shelf doesn't kill. The response within the body when it is introduced is what kills.
Why would you think mentioning a chemical sitting in a bottle in a discussion of safe doses of chemicals is even remotely relevant? How are your semantics adding anything of value to this discussion?
I think you've either missed the point, or you're trying to change the subject in order to save face because you've been shown your statement to be flawed. The response of a chemical is directly related to the dosage, and thus the dosage is the key variable. Please stop the semantics.
The answer of course, is a definite no. Noone in their right mind would argue that drugs like Tylenol or Sudafed are bad when they're used at the doses specified on their labels. They do their jobs with a minimum of adverse symptoms. While some people may have more negative reactions due to things like allergies, those drugs don't automatically become bad for everyone else.
The same applies to MSG - even if you have an allergy to it, it's not automatically unsafe for everyone.
You said, "While some people may have more negative reactions" so you're basically in agreement. It isn't the dosage or the chemical, but the reaction that kills. While the same dosage of the same chemical when given to two people may cause death in one and not in the other indicates that one person reacted differently. What are you, a fucking tort lawyer?
Look, you don't have to get angry at me just because you're wrong. And you've obviously never heard of the toxicology phrase "median lethal dose", which deals directly with the example you've given (the dose required of a toxic substance or radiation required to kill half the members of a tested population after a specified test duration).
Look, you really should take some chemistry classes or something, you're not getting even the basics.
@thrustfang You should learn to use logic and take a Physiology class. As I said, while the same dosage of the same chemical when given to two people may cause death in one and not the other indicates that each person reacted differently. In saying that, neither the dosage or the chemical killed. The reaction was different in the people and that is what caused death. I can make a pop up book if you need help following along.
Being rude is usually a good sign you're losing the argument.
Yes, some people have rare, adverse reactions to a drug, but those end up being classified as unusual symptoms. Excluding such cases, chemicals are not poisonous due only to what chemical they happen to be, but also what dose they are taken at. You can survive something that's normally a poison if you only take a small amount, much as you can overdose on a normally healthy thing. I'm sorry this is so difficult for you.
@thrustfang Usually, maybe, but not in this case. I'm just sick of trying to get you to understand your failed logic. Give me your address so I can send a pop up book with the hope that you will be able to understand.
I'm sorry you feel the need to resort to childishness. It's clear there's no point in continuing this with you since you're unable to behave like an adult, and obviously aren't understanding anything I've said.
Did you know that MSG. is in most of our foods, whether u like or not?
Did you know chinese foods, fast foods, etc., are loaded w/it, thus is the reason for luring people to get more of it?
Did yo know this flavor enhancer has been added in our foods since the 1940's, and today it is being disguised in various different names to fool people?
The shocking truth is that it has an accumulative effect in the brain.
ALS doesn't have anything to do with MSG. If you're going to claim it does, then you're going to have to point me to a study that's been published in a journal, because I've yet to see any.
Glutamate also occurs naturally in our foods. MSG isn't special, it's simply glutamate with an added sodium ion, which are the two products MSG breaks into when it dissolves in saliva. Absolutely nothing harmful or different from a natural source.
I am not here to try to convince you of the claim MSG does or does not cause ALS.
It is up to you to use your own best judgement and avoid it for your own benefit.
Don't Let Yourself Be Deceived! The food additive MSG is a slow poison.
MSG hides behind 25 or more names, such as "Natural Flavoring."
One can only warn others of the dangers this poison may cause damage to the brain. However, you will have to do your own research to figure that truth out!
First you claim that MSG is somehow to blame for increased rates of Alzheimer's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, then when asked to provide citations for these claims, you backpedal and claim you're not trying to convince anyone that MSG causes these. Could you please try to be internally consistent?
You've yet to provide any evidence that MSG is a 'neurotoxin' or a 'poison', while there's plenty of studies to show it's safe for consumption. It's on the GRAS list for a reason.
@thrustfang MSG in nature is part of a food-complex that is easily metabolised by the body as opposed to refined MSG (different from it's natural food-comnplex molecular formation) where you have FREE-FLOATING glutamic acid causing undesirable chain-reactions in the body...
First of all, if something is chemically identical, it matters not whether or not it has a natural or artificial source. Second, MSG does not occur naturally - it is stabilized with sodium by humans. Glutamate is what occurs naturally, but MSG only differs from glutamate in that it is the exact same glutamate stabilized with sodium, and it breaks down into sodium and glutamate on digestion.
You should check your facts before you make baseless assertions like this.
@aquariussphere hmmm... you must one of those people who think commercially manufactured ascorbic acid is the same as Vitamin C as part of a complex food molecule. ever heard of Isomerism? Our bodies thrive on actual food, not byproducts of science experiments...
If you cannot understand that the source of a molecule is irrelevant to the body as long as the molecule is chemically identical to its natural and artificial counterparts, then there is no point in attempting to reason with you.
@aquariussphere you're looking at this merely from a purely chemistry lesson perspective while I am looking at this from a nutritive perspective. How a molecule is presented to the body matters a lot. e.g. Vitamin C integrated with bioflavonoids, enzymes etc is more nurturing to the body than synthetic Vitamin C which would draw upon the body own reserves of nutrients to be properly metabolised. Obviously, your understanding of what is nurturing to Life is sorely lacking...
@thrustfang MSG in nature is part of a food-complex that is easily metabolised by the body as opposed to refined MSG (different from it's natural food-complex molecular formation) where you have FREE-FLOATING glutamic acid causing undesirable chain-reactions in the body...
MSG DOESN'T EVEN EXIST IN NATURE. MSG is a man-made stabilized form of naturally occurring glutamate! Fuck, can't you even take the time to even Google what it is you're trying to argue about?
@aquariussphere Lemme make it simple for you then. MSG, unnatural for human consumption, hence not good. Whole foods, natural... you do the math Einstein :-)
Unnatural = not good? Oh, I'm glad you told me that, I'll be sure to tell all those diabetics taking "unnatural" insulin produced from pigs to stop and die from their disease. I'll also make sure to tell cancer patients not to take proven lifesaving drugs because they were "unnaturally" produced in a scary, scary lab.
Oh, and thanks for letting me know that natural = good. Hey, here's an idea: why not go try eating some oleander? It's a natural plant, so it must be good for you.
@aquariussphere and why did they become diabetics/cancer patients in the first place? Toxic unnatural life practices. And secondly, in my part of the world, diabetics (and cancer patients) have been cured through Fasting and selective usage of natural herbs that work with the body as opposed to trying to "take charge" of the situation. Herbs which, once isolated and patented by big pharma, you'll be shouting about :D
And now you've demonstrated that you don't understand that cancer is formed by the mutation of cells.
I see no reason to make a long response, so I'll simply say this: You have no understanding of the scientific method and are therefore unable to properly discuss this topic. Go take a chemistry class.
@aquariussphere and as I said before, you clearly have no understanding on what actually nurtures Life. The intricacies Life does not happen in a test tube which is why scientists who understand how complex the living organism is, still use test animals to acquire, at best, a vague idea of what happens in the human body...
Why would I waste my time doing something like that? Most of them are claiming cancer is cured by things for which there is no peer-reviewed evidence to suggest such a thing, several videos are selling products on websites with Quack Miranda Warnings, and some even claim it is caused by things which simply are not sources of cancer like the overarching "toxins" gambit.
Hell, one lists Chlorella as a cure when the FDA sends out warning to anyone who claims it treats cancer.
Your computer, the rise in life expectancy, improvements in technology, and anything else that has come about from the scientific method, they would all like a word with you.
You are arguing against something that you display absolutely no understanding of, while faving videos that, among other things, claim baking soda and maple syrup are cures.
Do you seriously believe that if such a 'cure' existed that people wouldn't have found it on their own by now?!
Yes, there is a danger of mercury also in Tuna so the japanese can enjoy more for these diet and MSG is just another. If this is dangerous , why the Asians are just plainly healthy and propagating so good more than any being? and it's a fact.. This program is just plainly irrational.
@niceguido The diet of most Americans consists of processed food, junk food and animal based foods such as meat and dairy products. When MSG added to this kind of food, weight gain and other health issues are inevitable.
For the Asian people who eat mostly rice, vegetables and fish the effects of MSG won't be as bad. The healthy effects of such a diet will counteract the harmful effects of MSG.

@HealthRanger7 MSG was made originally in Japan and until today the Japanese are stiil practicing this use. And the Japs are the people I know whom most aware about their health than any body in the world. They know what to eat. They even eat the most venomous fish in the ocean. They are smart enough to know what to eat and what not. They even know when to eat some shell fish or fish base on the seasons. Theyknow.......
@HealthRanger7 The problems that we have here in the USA called united are not United at all. Why? Because people here are not caring enough for their own fellow or anyone. Its all about profits and greed. That is why Americans are fat. Have you heard about Mosato Company? The bioTech, the GMO? that is the problems are. Do the study and you will know what I mean. Tip: Whatch Front Line at PBS document video Title: Harvest For Fear.
@niceguido Yes, i am all aware of Monsanto and the bigger forces behind all these poisons. Please check out the lower section my channel page for more more details.
@niceguido I totally agree with you. Monsanto, the FDA, government, and genetically modified foods are EVIL! Do your research people. These big companies only want our money. They don't care about our lives and who we are.
Buy organic!!! You will live a longer and healthier life.
@lilya06 Another conclusion why most Americans are sick. Have you heared about the chemicals, potasium bromade. its in the flour and all kind of pastry product. Do you know that potasium bromade is ban in other country like EU, China , and i think, Australia. The question is ,why they ban that chemical in their food chain but legal here in the USA. Think about that.
god i was eating instant noodles all my life and i had extreme ADHD, depression, slurred speech, and insominia. not until i stopped living with my parents and bought my own food, then my ADHD, Depression, etc. went away. now im pregnant and i stay away from ALL MSG and eating healthy fresh meals. meanwhile everyone is saying that im crazy and extreme. im not, i just simply know how to cook from scratch and care about my health, including my baby's development.
Try to eat a balanced diet with as much fresh food as possible. Make a list of what gives you headaches and avoid it in the future. Cheap cakes and packaged, frozen meals are among the worst... Avoid KFC and diet coke. Diet coke also causes extreme weight gain, because of the amount of MSG which is added to it. People think that because it dosen't contain sugar, it isn't fattening. the reverse is true.
I think you need to check your sources, because here are the ingredients for the US formulation of Diet Coke: * Carbonated water * Caramel color * Aspartame * Phosphoric acid * Potassium benzoate (to protect taste) * Natural flavors * Citric acid * Caffeine
None of these are monosodium glutamate, and no formulation of Diet Coke anywhere in the world has MSG (or using an alternative name for MSG) in its ingredients. You are incorrect in your claim.
ok i'm shocked but kind of glad i found out about this now whilst i'm still a teenager, so i can protect myself from now on. it is terrible that there are harmful chemicals like msg in almost everything one can buy from the store!! it is just horrible that next to no one is informed about what msg, fluorid,(...) actually cause
i didn't have the problems he mentioned. since i was a kid i was consuming msg almost daily. im also a straight A student. Terry Strouss's migraine probably went away because he believes that avoiding msg helps. basically the placebo effect.
@mrjoaquin357 I don't know about placebo effect.I've had problems with weight depression panic attacks and over eating most of my life.Ever since I stop using aspartame,MSG did a body detox program and started eating organic food my over eating depression and panic attacks is 95% or more better.This is no placebo.
@mrjoaquin357 Yes I am.But truely I've noticed a complete difference since I've stoped using MSG and aspartame.When the antidepressants failed me I had to look elsewhere for help.The stuff that the FDA says has no scientific support for depression helped me.Since then I've been studying up on food ingredients,where they come from and what they do.In the future when I post videos I'm going to make videos about food ingredients
@thoughtfinder thats exactly the placebo effect. you get better by thinking you are doing right. its your brain thats helping you. your body produces glutamate naturally. you dont have to consume MSG to have it. you've been brainwashed
@mrjoaquin357 I"ll check on that and do some study.But that is something I've never heard of.The body produces many things but that one I'm not sure.But when I was eating MSG I had a huge uncontrollable eating habit.I don't think brain washing has anything to do with this.The food companies are knowingly purposely putting stuff in the food to increase are appetites.It's all about the money.Fat people eat more food and thats what they want.
@thoughtfinder MSG causes the body to produce up to 5 times too much insulin. This stimulates a craving for more food and that may have caused your uncontrolable eating habit.... One is never enough when MSG is added to food.
Where are you getting this claim that MSG somehow increases insulin production? Increased sugar intake is generally associated with insulin production, but I've not seen any claims that MSG somehow adversely affects insulin production. Please provide your sources.
@mrjoaquin357 I've been doing some studying over the weekend on this issue and now I'm up a little more on this.The body produces a substance known as L-Glutimine not glutimate.Infact I use L-Glutimine for my ulcer which helps to reduce the inflamation of my ulcer.Glutimate was discovered in 1892 by a Japanese scientist at Tokoyo's Imperial university.He discovered that when you mix L-Glutimine with salt it's make is altered to monosodium glutimate.Msg is L-Glutimine in an altered state.
@mrjoaquin357 You can find this information on Google which will lead you to Wikipedia which explain the whiole history.While many years of MSG has had very few health problems it is not with its critics.What may effect some people others it may not.Granted most people who read this will never have any side effects from MSG.But others will.Most people can eat peanuts while some are allergic to peanuts.For me MSG and aspartame were bad.
@mrjoaquin357 Granted you are right.But I believe the food industry knows that some artificial ingredients will effect some and other it won't.Thats their objective.To make people fat so people will eat more food.It's not a conspiracy!It's just simple economics.If you can put stuff in the food to make people eat more and increase your profits most food company's will do this.MSG does this in some people.
@mrjoaquin357 L-Glutimine in it's natural state is responsible for bone and muscle structure in the body as well as being they key firing mechanisim for brain chemistry like seritonin,neurophenifrine,dopamine and ephanephrine(I probably did'nt spell those right)L-Glutimine if taken as a supplement seems to help rebuild stomach linning since the stomach is a organ and a muscle itself.Seeing that L-glutimine is responsible for brain chemistry I wonder what MSG does?
@mrjoaquin357 I used to laugh at the MSG theories until I started getting sick and having terrible headaches. Now I avoid MSG and i'm fine. I haven't been brainwashed. The human body can only take so much of this poison before it becomes saturated.
@mrjoaquin357 I had no problems at all with MSG until a few years ago. Then it hit me like a hammer. Sore heads which lasted for days and vomiting. I try to avoid MSG now and life is fine...It seems that everyone is different, but everyone will reach a tolerance level. You just have a high tolerance level, but it will be reached eventually. Try to limit your intake of this poison.
Without having taken an allergy test from your doctor, you have no way of knowing for certain if you are sensitive to MSG or not. For all we know, any symptoms you claim to have had were psychosomatic and not related to any ingested glutamate.
MSG is part of a larger, hidden agenda to dumb down society and to create diseases (which can then be treated with highly profitable pharmaceutical drugs).
Please watch the film 'Wake Up Call' (among my favorites and playlists) to learn more about this
Thanks for this information. Its cruel how they hide these things, especially for their pharmaceutical profiting purposes et el.
Its wrong. I will do my best to balance what i eat even more now after i watch your favourites and playlists. Already i am starting to talk to my family and friends about these dangers.
@TheKrazySystem President Bush got a bill passed to supress the truth about what MSG can do to people. I read it in an article called ... MSG is poisoning America.... Google this article for more info.
my sister suffers servere migrains until the doctor has to give her a shot for the pain. I am going to take lots of notes from these videos and ask her to check them out. she was in a bad car accident a number of years ago and always thought the migrains were from that. she will be pain free for a few weeks and then wham.
To reduce the incidence of migraines, your sister should avoid MSG (including all its hidden names, see the text section next to MSG part 4 for a comprehensive list), as well as aspartame (and all other artificial sweeteners).
She should also have all her dental amalgam silver fillings removed SAFELY (!!!) as these cause mercury poisoning. In addition, she should no longer drink fluoridated water or use toothpaste as fluoride is another migraine causing poison.
MSG is not a sweetener. It enhances the umami flavor, not sweetness. Aspartame is the sweetener used in Diet Coke. Please check your sources before you make such claims, because you're spreading false information.
the only way is to completely give up all processed foods and alike. fresh ecologically grown veggies, fruits and grain only. it's a good time to go vegetarian too since a LOT of packed meat gets MSG added to it.
beware of MSG in spices by the way! seems an odd place to put it but i found that about 90% of spice mixes (eg, things labeled as "spices for roasted potatoes" or "spices for salads", etc) contain MSG.
I live in the mid-west. near Kansas City. Bulk and pre-packaged is all there that seem to be available. Around here "organic" grocery stores are no where to be found....at least I haven't been able to find any. If anyone knows of any in my area....please let me know.
So hydrolized is just one of the hidden words for MSG? I have come to realize that there is MSG in Mountain House Meals that many of us take while on hikes. Wow...makes you wonder!
I work in a grocery store and have for years. I can honestly tell you this, there is not one thing in a grocery store that is good for you. All the products are bad. Don't believe me? Just read the labels, think of how many years you and your family have been eating this stuff.
The Aji No Moto you showed is a Japanese brand. I would assume that the text on the packaging is in Japanese and NOT Chinese, as mentioned by Christie.
Not only that, the guy who gave the ok to make Aspartame legal, is the same guy who is pushing the Tamiflu vaccine. I'll let you do your homework. Time to wake up people, before is too late.
I agree msg is horrible. I check labels for all forms and names of msg. especially natural flavoring. sometimes I cant check labels. like at friends houses etc. But I feel it later. asthma like pain, restless leg syndrome, chest pains. So I take ibuprophen and drink taurine. It does seem to help. Not sure how it works but it does.
Over the past few years I started having serious trouble with MSG. I get headaches, swelling all over my body, numbness and tingling, trouble concentrating, weakness, trouble sleeping, and itching. One of the worst reactions I had was after eating Chinese food my eyes were swollen shut and weeping fluid. I've also had to go the emergency room because my tongue was swollen and I had trouble breathing.
MSG is not associated with those reactions in any evidence/studies published in peer-reviewed literature. Have you been to your doctor and taken an allergy test to see if you are allergic to anything? They can test for a wide variety of substances, including monosodium glu

I do agree with you on naturally curing the body though.
ligon15 1 year ago
Msg can also be under natural flavors. It's very annoying because even products that say no msg do actually contain it under a different name, most commonly "natural flavors" or "hydrolyzed" anything. The USDA considers it "natural" because indeed msg occures naturally in some foods like overly ripe tomatoes but you want to stay away from the processed msg because it is man made.
ligon15 1 year ago
@ligon15 Some of the most toxic substances are made "naturally". Whether a compound is produced naturally in tomatoes or processed by man is irrelevant — the atomic structure of the compound will be the same, and so to its effects, in either case. It is just a single compound, if it were to change in any way when manufactured by man, then it'd no longer be the same compound.

@RAINBOWLIZY333

RAINBOWLIZY333 1 year ago
@RAINBOWLIZY333
It's not the chemical that kills, it's the dosage.
thrustfang 1 year ago
You can also die of water poisoning for example, but we'd never claim water is somehow toxic. If you ingest too much of the stuff at once, you experience adverse effects, just like anything else, like salt. In the case of things like water and MSG, it's far more than anyone would ever consume normally, so the only way you'd realistically be able to overdose on either is if you were trying to on purpose.
thrustfang 1 year ago
@thrustfang It isn't the chemical or the dosage...it is the response that kills.
mordred612 1 year ago
@mordred612
Does this make Tylenol a poison?
thrustfang 1 year ago
@thrustfang No, I never said anything was "all" bad. That isn't logical. What I said was that it wasn't the chemical or the dosage that kills. A high dosage of a chemical sitting on a shelf doesn't kill. The response within the body when it is introduced is what kills.
mordred612 1 year ago
@mordred612
Please stop the semantics.
thrustfang 1 year ago
@mordred612
The same applies to MSG - even if you have an allergy to it, it's not automatically unsafe for everyone.
thrustfang 1 year ago
You said, "While some people may have more negative reactions" so you're basically in agreement. It isn't the dosage or the chemical, but the reaction that kills. While the same dosage of the same chemical when given to two people may cause death in one and not in the other indicates that one person reacted differently. What are you, a fucking tort lawyer?
mordred612 1 year ago
@mordred612
"What are you, a fucking tort lawyer?"
Look, you don't have to get angry at me just because you're wrong. And you've obviously never heard of the toxicology phrase "median lethal dose", which deals directly with the example you've given (the dose required of a toxic substance or radiation required to kill half the members of a tested population after a specified test duration).
Look, you really should take some chemistry classes or something, you're not getting even the basics.
thrustfang 1 year ago
@thrustfang You should learn to use logic and take a Physiology class. As I said, while the same dosage of the same chemical when given to two people may cause death in one and not the other indicates that each person reacted differently. In saying that, neither the dosage or the chemical killed. The reaction was different in the people and that is what caused death. I can make a pop up book if you need help following along.
mordred612 1 year ago
@mordred612
I'm sorry this is so difficult for you.
thrustfang 1 year ago
@thrustfang Usually, maybe, but not in this case. I'm just sick of trying to get you to understand your failed logic. Give me your address so I can send a pop up book with the hope that you will be able to understand.

@thrustfang,
Tell that to an ALS patient!
Google: Hidden Names for MSG
RAINBOWLIZY333 1 year ago
@RAINBOWLIZY333
Accumulative effect? Citations needed.
thrustfang 1 year ago
@thrustfang,
I am not here to try to convince you of the claim MSG does or does not cause ALS.
RAINBOWLIZY333 1 year ago
First you claim that MSG is somehow to blame for increased rates of Alzheimer's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, then when asked to provide citations for these claims, you backpedal and claim you're not trying to convince anyone that MSG causes these. Could you please try to be internally consistent?
You've yet to provide any evidence that MSG is a 'neurotoxin' or a 'poison', while there's plenty of studies to show it's safe for consumption. It's on the GRAS list for a reason.
thrustfang 1 year ago
@thrustfang MSG in nature is part of a food-complex that is easily metabolised by the body as opposed to refined MSG (different from it's natural food-comnplex molecular formation) where you have FREE-FLOATING glutamic acid causing undesirable chain-reactions in the body...
pryml 1 year ago
@pryml

Obviously, your understanding of what is nurturing to Life is sorely lacking...

aquariussphere 1 year ago
@aquariussphere and why did they become diabetics/cancer patients in the first place? Toxic unnatural life practices. And secondly, in my part of the world, diabetics (and cancer patients) have been cured through Fasting and selective usage of natural herbs that work with the body as opposed to trying to "take charge" of the situation. Herbs which, once isolated and patented by big pharma, you'll be shouting about :D

Try to eat a balanced diet with as much fresh food as possible. Make a list of what gives you headaches and avoid it in the future. Cheap cakes and packaged, frozen meals are among the worst...

@thoughtfinder thats exactly the placebo effect. you get better by thinking you are doing right. its your brain thats helping you. your body produces glutamate naturally. you dont have to consume MSG to have it. you've been brainwashed
mrjoaquin357 1 year ago

One is never enough when MSG is added to food.
rocker53zero 1 year ago
@rocker53zero
Where are you getting this claim that MSG somehow increases insulin production? Increased sugar intake is generally associated with insulin production, but I've not seen any claims that MSG somehow adversely affects insulin production. Please provide your sources.

@mrjoaquin357 I've been doing some studying over the weekend on this issue and now I'm up a little more on this.The body produces a substance known as L-Glutimine not glutimate.Infact I use L-Glutimine for my ulcer which helps to reduce the inflamation of my ulcer.Glutimate was discovered in 1892 by a Japanese scientist at Tokoyo's Imperial university.He discovered that when you mix L-Glutimine with salt it's make is altered to monosodium glutimate.Msg is L-Glutimine in an altered state.
thoughtfinder 1 year ago
@mrjoaquin357 You can find this information on Google which will lead you to Wikipedia which explain the whiole history.While many years of MSG has had very few health problems it is not with its critics.What may effect some people others it may not.Granted most people who read this will never have any side effects from MSG.But others will.Most people can eat peanuts while some are allergic to peanuts.For me MSG and aspartame were bad.
thoughtfinder 1 year ago
@thoughtfinder too much of anything is harmful
mrjoaquin357 1 year ago
@mrjoaquin357 Granted you are right.But I believe the food industry knows that some artificial ingredients will effect some and other it won't.Thats their objective.To make people fat so people will eat more food.It's not a conspiracy!It's just simple economics.If you can put stuff in the food to make people eat more and increase your profits most food company's will do this.MSG does this in some people.

@mrjoaquin357 L-Glutimine in it's natural state is responsible for bone and muscle structure in the body as well as being they key firing mechanisim for brain chemistry like seritonin,neurophenifrine,dopamine and ephanephrine(I probably did'nt spell those right)L-Glutimine if taken as a supplement seems to help rebuild stomach linning since the stomach is a organ and a muscle itself.Seeing that L-glutimine is responsible for brain chemistry I wonder what MSG does?
thoughtfinder 1 year ago
@mrjoaquin357 I used to laugh at the MSG theories until I started getting sick and having terrible headaches. Now I avoid MSG and i'm fine. I haven't been brainwashed. The human body can only take so much of this poison before it becomes saturated.
rocker53zero 1 year ago
@mrjoaquin357 I had no problems at all with MSG until a few years ago. Then it hit me like a hammer. Sore heads which lasted for days and vomiting. I try to avoid MSG now and life is fine...It seems that everyone is different, but everyone will reach a tolerance level. You just have a high tolerance level, but it will be reached eventually. Try to limit your intake of this poison.
rocker53zero 1 year ago
@rocker53zero
Without having taken an allergy test from your doctor, you have no way of knowing for certain if you are sensitive to MSG or not. For all we know, any symptoms you claim to have had were psychosomatic and not related to any ingested glutamate.
thrustfang 1 year ago
so if this is clearly long term damaging and poisoning, why isnt something being done about it.

MSG is part of a larger, hidden agenda to dumb down society and to create diseases (which can then be treated with highly profitable pharmaceutical drugs).
Please watch the film 'Wake Up Call' (among my favorites and playlists) to learn more about this
agenda.
HealthRanger7 1 year ago
Thanks for this information. Its cruel how they hide these things, especially for their pharmaceutical profiting purposes et el.
Its wrong. I will do my best to balance what i eat even more now after i watch your favourites and playlists. Already i am starting to talk to my family and friends about these dangers.

my sister suffers servere migrains until the doctor has to give her a shot for the pain. I am going to take lots of notes from these videos and ask her to check them out. she was in a bad car accident a number of years ago and always thought the migrains were from that. she will be pain free for a few weeks and then wham.
so something else has to be triggering them.
mommarox2 2 years ago
@mommarox2
HealthRanger7 2 years ago
@mommarox2 Another source of msg is the sweetner in diet coke and other processed drinks.
rocker53zero 1 year ago
@rocker53zero
MSG is not a sweetener. It enhances the umami flavor, not sweetness. Aspartame is the sweetener used in Diet Coke. Please check your sources before you make such claims, because you're spreading false information.

ITS A shame that they ´put msg in food and there are dozens of hidden msg derivates
its nearly impossible to find out if its in the food or not
ffm20zaheri 2 years ago
How do you find foods without MSG or even its byproducts. It is impossible by my limited reasearch. That crap is in everything.
pmhoard 2 years ago
Check out the grey text box next to MSG - Part 4 for a fairly comprhensive list of the hidden names MSG.
HealthRanger7 2 years ago
the only way is to completely give up all processed foods and alike. fresh ecologically grown veggies, fruits and grain only. it's a good time to go vegetarian too since a LOT of packed meat gets MSG added to it.
beware of MSG in spices by the way! seems an odd place to put it but i found that about 90% of spice mixes (eg, things labeled as "spices for roasted potatoes" or "spices for salads", etc) contain MSG.

Ggreenvideos 2 years ago
Do, what do we eat??? It has been proven that most organic food is not authentic. Many people find it pricey also!

I seen that on msgtruth org.
wonderful site.
Thank you.

I've also had to go the emergency room because my tongue was swollen and I had trouble breathing.
mordred612 2 years ago 2
@mordred612
MSG is not associated with those reactions in any evidence/studies published in peer-reviewed literature. Have you been to your doctor and taken an allergy test to see if you are allergic to anything? They can test for a wide variety of substances, including monosodium glu
