@bloodguiser Canada is not as bad as the French. We won the War of 1812, remember. We basically won full independence during WWI by kicking way more ass then a country which had just created an army should've been capable of

Also, I always find it odd when Americans razz on the French. You do realize the French are a big part of the reason why you guys won the war in Independence, right? And that Statue of Liberty you're all so proud of? That was a gift from France.

@Dockktor The Reason that Us Americans and the Brits hate on the French is because During World War II countries like Poland, and Belgium fought the Germans till the very last man then Surrendered. France surrender early on and the Germans didn't even attack Paris yet. Yet Britain had to go through the Blitz in the Battle of Britain out numbered with London being bombed every day. I think thats why most Americans and Brits hate the french.

@skatepunkzero So as an American, you hate the French for giving up in a war you hadn't even bothered to fight in yet, and wouldn't until you yourselves were attacked? And you give that war precedence over the war in which they helped you CREATE YOUR OWN COUNTRY?

Sorry, I just always find Anti-French Americans to be comical, because it shows how little they know of the origin of their own nation.

@Dockktor Did you not read anything else I read? The British got Bombed on every single day in 1940, took way more causalities than the French, the Polish knew they were going to lose and fought to the very last man, same with the Fins, and the Belgians yet the French didn't even take that many causalities and they surrendered. So yeah I know the French helped us in the Revolution but that was before WWII they didn't Surrender then, seems you know little about WWII.

@skatepunkzero I actually know quite a lot about WWII, being a History Major. I know what the Battle of Britain was. It doesn't change the fact that it makes you, as an American, look really silly for hating France for giving up a war that you guys hadn't even bothered to enter yet.

@Dockktor I highly doubt you have a History Major, since so far your knowledge of WWII doesn't seem very good. Like I said France surrendered, yet Britain went through way worse than the French. Britain got London bombed on Everyday. So I respect the Brits, the Polish, the Belgians , the Danish, the Fins, and all of the other Countries who fought till the very last man. So maybe you should stop trolling and go learn about history.

My contention is that it is silly for Americans to have so totally forgotten what the French have done for their nation (IE, helped them actually free themselves from the British) to mock them at every possible opportunity. I never said that any other nation couldn't mock them (and as a Canadian, I enjoy mocking them myself), just that it seems silly coming from a nation that owes them so much.

@Dockktor Dude that was the 1770s and 1780s that was a long time ago things change. We liked the French back than and hated the British, now we like the British (even with there dumb wedding) and hate the French its called times change, same with we now like the Japanese too. Guess what the US and Canada were once enemies now we like each and up till 5 years ago you didn't need a passport to cross the boarder.

Maybe you should learn that things change and stop trolling around youtube now.

Yes,Americans do sometimes forget about the French and their help with the Revolution.But yet to say that I can't crack a couple of jokes towards to French even though they called me a "stupid American" is just a sign of double standards...

Like seriously, I was talking about Americans mocking French people. The closest I came to making fun of America was saying that I think it's silly for them to mock France all the time. Which isn't even an insult, it's a statement of opinion.

@Alkinoos7 IMHO the last really badass ruler of France was De Gaulle, yeah he was less badass than Napoleon but very badass in his own right (He was the only French general that understood the concept of armored fist, and used it against the masters of the armored fist, Germans to slow the invasion in 1940, too bad he didn`t had enough tanks at his command).
