I spent 15 months in a hell called Iraq. This song does two things one it makes me miss my fallen brothers the next it pisses me off. Not the fact that he sang the song but the fact that a song like this had to be made, everyone takes for granted the American serviceman. I know in a few years the men that I had the honor of serving with will be forgotten. Only two people have died so you could enjoy the way you live Jesus and the American serviceman.
You have my sincere Thank You without a doubt! I for one will never forget our brave hero's who have given us the freedoms we have today. I come from a very long line of Marines. I lost two uncles in Nam and both my older brothers fought in Nam. My father fought at Guadacanal and Iwo Jima.
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself" -- John Stuart Mill
to all the veterans and too those currently serving the armed forces please allow me to give you the greatest thank you for keeping us safe, but to spare other families like mine from losing thier loved one please return home safe. and keep each other strong we do the same here when a family member is fighting elsewhere we rely on each other like a big family keep each other safe
Hate WaR But Love the American Warrior - Lt.Col. Hal Moore
God Bless any man that has fought in any campaign in any war and had to return to this country and feel out of place and downed by everyone trust me that while some may dislike you the rest honor you and your courage to fight for us, my brother was one of these men he didnt make it home the way i wished he would have, i visit him ever other day beside my grandfather and grandmother

Sad that comming back from the war on terror is like comming back from vietnam how some americans still hate the troops and what we as troops due to protect your freedom to love us hate us. I love this song by boy TK states ut best. " Hate me if you want to Love me if you can."
Why can't I find the video for this song? I know they made one, but I can't find it anywhere. Is it one of those little things we shouldn't see because it's not "politically correct"?

I don't think this video was shown much on GAC or CMT. But if you buy the You Do Your Thing DVD, the video's on it.
