How many planes would be needed to fly a whole BDE in 96 hours? They were not too happy when seeing Col Brown fielding questions-expeditionary warfare and the Marines-not popular subjects. Saying that-that has nothing to do with the quality of equipment-the hi moral value for outside the box leaders. I used to live on fort lewis when i was small. i remember my dad always going out on the field, the artillery going off, the excitement! (he fought in operation just cause by the way) just being there was amazing in itself. i got to go back about a month ago for armed forces day, the memories just came flooding back. god bless america. god bless the troops. god bless fort lewis!

The reason we didnt immediately join in World War 1 because we could see how stupid it was.We joined after retriving a message to Mexico from the Germans promising Arizona,California,and New Mexico.We were there in 1939,with shipments to England,if we didnt ship arms to England in 1940 The battle of Britian would have been lost.

I grew up in Tacoma, Wa. close enough that the windows would rattle when Ft. Lewis live fires the Howitzers. Now live about 15-20 miles away across a few hills so dont hear that anymore.
