@rockdrummerc Are you drunk or just kidding? sx 300 is the best 12-inch box ever, works perfectly in all conditions and all the rooms! I have them for ten years and use them for live shows, and sx - 500! And if you compare t 15-inch speakers, my one speaker electro - voice sx 500 will blow both of your laney toys!! I do not believe that Laney speakers are stronger than sx 300! No offense and anger!greetings

Great speakers, sound is as clear as it could be. The only thing is, those speakers are build to direct the sound straight. So the way you have yours is not correct for best listening. They should be facing straight.

@wooferfreak I have some new sx300as i dont know what you heard but these put out crisp clean bass and the sound is very good. Just 2 of these and a 10 inch krk studio sub does a gym with about 300 ppl with soooooo much room to spare. These things will take absolute hell. also once you get over a certain volume, the sound comes alive. It seemed like a 2nd amp kicked in. hear them turned up loud and omg! i love 'em.

Does anyone know???? I am debating among 4 kinds of 15" speakers for live music sound. JBL Eons, Electro Voice, black widow peavys, or Mackie's. Which ones would sound the best for clear, natural, studio quality sounding vocals, as well as clear bass and mids for all kinds of music. Any recomendations from anyone??

Good job on this video, the sound is well recorded. Can you tell me what camcorder you used? Did you use an external mic or is this using the camcorder internal mic?

I have the same speakers and they are AWESOME! I also have a pair of the little EV Sb122 subs to go with them.

Some credit should also go to the QSC amp, they put out a high quality amplified signal.

SX100's are just as good!! pair these with a pair of SB122's and youl be flyin!! P.S never run your speakers that close together youl get bad phase issues.

12's are accurate sounding. i have 4 ev's and 2 jbl sr with 12s. better sounding the 15s. i want to know how the zx3s sound when you buy the pair.

I have this speaker (SX300) and the SX100+. They sound great and can handle a lot of power. When you adjust the eq, you hear the change on the speaker. However, I wanted to get either the zx1 or the sx80b. I have never heard either speaker and wonder how they sound. Would the zx1 sound similar to the sx80?

YES THE ARE DIFFERENT I have used the EV sx300s, the EV ZX4, ZX3 and ZX4. The ZX3 and ZX5 use a newer line of drivers, more powerful, louder and clearer. Which is better is up to you and your ear. I love both the SX and ZX series and almost anything with the EV Logo
