Seeing that this is the second time I've had to do this, here are the hoops I jumped through: 1) The 20th Century Voyage isn't all that easy to find as a download, but as of now, it's at download.cnet.com 2) A trial version of DivX Converter launched when I double-clicked T20C, so I had to run the uninstaller in the DivX folder to get it off my hard drive 3) From there on it's just like the video.
Pfiuuu, I was afraid we'd loose QTPro for good, glad we'll be allowed to use that good old QT "Classic" untill they put out aan App to manipulate .mov (Multitrack audio/video, subtitles, extract track, export to various non "Apple Device" formats, tweak, etc)
Maybe Disc Studio Pro (the DVDSP successor)... when Apple will include BR in OS X (by twisting MPEG-LA's arm to get a descent licence price and a less intrusive requirement for inclusion in the OS)
Retardedly faster in my experience. Now this is mostly Apple's programs so 3rd party ones will need to be updated. Even still everything overall is noticeably faster, even Safari.
This is neat. When one opens a PPC app in Snow Leopard (and they haven't installed Rosetta yet) Software Update offers to download and install Rosetta.
This is very slick, and I look forward to Apple slimming down installs more, and letting users get components as needed.

This is the reason video was invented.
I mean I hope to never watch a video of someone installing something ever again.
The trashy dance music was a bonus.

Snow Leopard will be way better than windows 7
darkside97 2 years ago 4
True, but it won't be leaps and bounds ahead from Leopard like Windows 7 is from Vista. But then again, Apple has way less to fix! :-)

Ah Thanks, life saving!
