The show was classic and the whole cast was wonderful espciaily Rene and Gruber, some of the scenes they had together are legendary.

The show started to die after Season 7. By Season 9 it was on life support. Richard Gibson left after Season 8 and they replaced him with some doofus who lamely tried to fill his shoes. The storyline became insipid and the gags became tired, though there were some funny moments. The series ended soon after.

The show wasn't really THAT funny. Herr Flick's character saved the WHOLE show, I am sure!!! He outplayed the WHOLE cast and made it the Herr Flick show :))
