Yeah it's a big effort but very rewarding. This was my second year doing the Challenge and last year two of my team didn't make so my priority this year was to ensure we all got through. Luckily we all made it, all 8 of us (two teams) and I can't wait till next year now. It's addictive. Might see you on the track training for next years challenge.
My team and I were on the waiting list and dint really think we'd get into the challenge so didnt train.
2 weeks before it started we got word that we were in.
Worst mistake ever was going into the challenge unprepared.
1 of our team didnt turn up at all.....the next pulled out at checkpoint 3 while me and the last one pulled out at checkpoint 5 becos we just could not walk anymore lol.
I take my hat off to you and your team for completing this.
