UTAU is easier with adding effects if you can get used to Japanese GUI's. Vocaloid is easier with drawing bars and converting MIDI's and the like. Or at least that's my experience.

i've used utau, and since i don't understand gibberish, i cant use it at all. XP.i got teto, and i cant put anything for her to say. if i get a vocaloid, i'll tell you what easier to use.

Not many Vocaloids. However, there are a plenty of UTAUloids; UTAU is a freeware version of Vocaloid, slightly less user-friendly. But you can make your own voicebank on UTAU. =D

Her name stays Koto both as Fuuga AND Samune.

Koto is her family name and Fuuga her personal name (hard to explain), that I know. Some people keep calling her Samune for convenience, but I personally always add both names to avoid confusion.
