  • BLEACH MY FAV ALBUM........ WOW I had in a casette.... :S wait, still have it :D

  • um, yea. Bleach is probably my favorite of all of Nirvana's masterpiece collections of songs.

  • Bleach is a fucking amazing album. So is Incesticide.

  • awesome guitar playin' luv you kurt!!!

  • L0VE It!!!

  • I think Kurt was listening to Slayer "Seasons In the Abyss" when he wrote this song. Very Slayer influenced.

  • @RebelThoughts this song was released before seasons in the abyss

  • @josevertiz3 Yeah you're right. I guess Slayer was influenced by Nirvana!

  • I thought dave was some random chick in the second picture..............

  • beautiful.

  • hmm. i wasent even looking for a nirvana song i was looking for the papercuts and found this, its pretty good.

  • the chorus reminds me of alice in chains for some reason

  • Smells like teen spirit is a good song for those who really UNDERSTAND it. It's not for those who are like " I love Nirvana" and they mean"I know only Smells like and it's cool". It pisses me off when somebody says like that. I mean - God, how can all these people understand the lyrics of Smells like if they have no fuc*king idea about Kurt's life, his feelings etc. I think some Nirvana "fans" are just kids who think they'll be cool cuz they listen to it ;( Nirvana deserves real fans!

  • @KikaWNR well,im 14 years old but i like bleach a lot better then nevermind.nirvana sounds so different

  • ya I remember this song.. a classic.

  • this song makes me think of people being held in basements getting tortured while their families are still hopeful they might return someday. fuck.

  • GOD this song is so raw and messy...that good grunge feel.

And he screams like an animal.

The best part is that the song isn't even about him, it's about a friend he had.

    This song feels so gooooddd....

  • This songs guitar is BRUTALITY. So fucking heavy. God damn it. I can't even handle how fucking nuts that sounds from nirvana. So metal.

  • @tylerjamesphillips42 Did u know kurt liked writing metal origionally but his was infulenced buy the band to change too grunge.

  • @acdcislegand I did not know that. I could see it though, coming from the Grunge scene, especially with Kurt being the "I don't give a fuck" kind of person he is.

  • @acdcislegand grunge isn't a real genre. it's just how people descibe the seattle scene which at this time mainly consisted of punk, hardcore punk, alternative rock, and noise rock. grunge is a shit term.

  • @xxMassMurderer1235xx really, all of those terms are meaningless anyway, 1) punk, hardcore punk, alt rock, and noise rock are all within the same grey area of Rock and can so often be interchangable as to make them obsolete terms; it's all just rock music. 2) punk is also meaningless because the philosophy is to be anti-establishment, so to "establish" a specific aesthetic associated with the term contradicts the entire philosophy, punk is supposed to represent an attitude not a genre

  • @Pinkzer 1) i'm pretty sure rock is an obsolete term. 2) if punk is just an attitude you're saying if willie nelson acted punk but continued playing country music he is punk? That's a ridiculous thing to say. also if punk isn't a style of music how is there a punk scene for punk bands to play in? you're a fucking idiot.

  • @xxMassMurderer1235xx 1) Rock is not necessarily obsolete, more accurately it would be described as too broad. It has grown to encompass such various sub-genres that it has lost specific connotation, however it is still very much a standard label utilized in music. To say "Rock" is obsolete is to say all genre labels are obsolete, which I fully agree with, I think the lines between genres are far too blurred to retain any actual meaning...

  • @xxMassMurderer1235xx Next point, 2) Punk as defined by the bands/fans working within said realm, is defined as an attitude, not a literal "style" of music. They of course have assigned a common sonic style of music to go with it, but anything can potentially fall under the category depending on the attitude/image. Knowing who Willie Nelson is makes him not punk to you, however, if say Joey Ramone or Fat Mike made a country album, it would be labeled "country-punk" or something simliar...

  • @xxMassMurderer1235xx Side bar, if Willie Nelson acted "punk" or made a "punk" album, he would in fact be considered "Country-Punk" or whatever the label became. Next point, this "punk scene" you're referring to is a group of people sharing similar views, likes, and dislikes. Since the group associated with the "punk" attitude also share simliar taste in music, there organically develops a common sound for the bands playing to said people at shows, however, the "punk" scene will allow all genres

  • @xxMassMurderer1235xx I actually know this from experience having played at so called "punk" venues in the past, I can definitively tell you they are accepting of all genres, as long as you are true to yourself and make the music you love, which is in fact derivative of the philosophy behind punk in the first place. Putting down someone with a different view on the term punk, in of itself would categorize yourself as quite the opposite of punk...

  • @xxMassMurderer1235xx I feel bad for overwhelming the comments on this video to argue with you, thus this will be the final message I post. However, to address your final remark, "Idiot: an utterly foolish or senseless person." What I said, whether or not you agree with my personal view point, makes complete and utter sense; I explained quite thoroughly what I meant. For you to misunderstand me, or the punk philosophy, is a shortcoming all your own. You were also quite impolite and immature :)

  • @Pinkzer Punk is a literal Style regardless of what you say, punk defines specific artists. also, just because a band is accepted and liked by punks doesn't mean they're punk. if fat mike made a country album that didn't involve punk it's just country nothing more nothing less. you're ignorant to say punk isn't it's own style and defined by characteristics only punk has. the only reason there are so many comments against is because you wrote all of them, stfu and suck a donkey's ass.

  • so raw, so hot...

  • this and love buzz sounds kinda metal

  • I wonder what Kurt would look like if he was still alive. (krist looks hilarious)

  • i agree

  • I love Bleach. I actually think Nevermind is their weakest album.

  • best band there ever was. R.I.P Kurt Cobain.such a great songwriter and musician. so many great musicians have left us too earl, like the legend Kurt Cobain.

  • grunge= hard rock with a dark style

  • @doel4484 not far...lol

  • incrivel isso é muito bom!!!!!

  • EPIC!!!!!

  • Great song!

  • is this their longest song? haha ive never seen one over 3 mins

  • i <33333333 nirvana.. phenominal

  • I bet bands like Korn were greatly inspired by songs like this. This was 89, no? Listen to how heavy this is! That's crazy. Nirvana rules.

  • so fuckin havy i bet korn and slipknot where inspired THIS IS SIC

  • Oh yeah. You can definitely see the early Nirvana influence of a lot of bands in the early to mid 90's.

  • Nirvana .... :X the past, the present and the future of grunge

  • Bleach was recorded for a few hundred dollars. Much better than Limp Bizkits shit shingles that cost over a million each to be million dollar fags.

  • @norcalirob1978 It was 600$ XD

  • fucking powerful man.. best fuckin band in the world.

  • @x3kAyLiNiCoLe that's right! NIrvana <3 R.I.P. Kurt

  • this song gives great mental images

  • unplugged is my fave but all of their songs are great every album each month my favorite song changes(it just does) and its almost always a nirvana song

  • i agree smell like is theire worst and overplayed song

  • @adelhssn yes, I mean i like the meaning but now its only comercial and its like a mmistake of nirvana, because kurt wanted fame (at least a bit) because he wanted to find his true fans ( and he found lots of them) and because he thought that would make him happy...

  • True dat :P

  • @adelhssn Finally someone that agrees. Every time someone tell me like "Hey I like Nirvana too!" im like.... please don't speak of Smells like teen spirit now or I will blow my fucking head off. Seriously... It's one of (or if not the) worst song they have made. They have so many awesome songs and it sucks that most people only listen to smells like teen spirit.

  • @Torkan91 i agreee so much smells like teen spirit is alright its just that people ahould listen to other stuff like big cheese or something!

  • Here is when hardcore music was born, listen to the DUN DUN DUN

  • This song is so sludgy I love it and all grunge: the greatest wake up call music could ask for!

  • When I'm feeling tired She puts food through the door I crawl to the cracks of light Sometimes I can't find my way Newspapers spread around Soaking all they can A cleaning is due again I'm gonna hose you do The lady I feel maternal love for cannot look me in the eyes Well I see her eyes and they are blue And they cock and twist and masturbate

  • Seasons in the Abyss? The song I mean... I think.

  • Dude, I do hear Seasons in the Abyss. Cool. Thanx 4 pointing that out.

  • I just want to understand your point of view cos I'm not a slayer fan but I'd like to know what is the reference to which of their song.

  • Yeah, the pre-chorus sounds a bit like part of the Slayer song Seasons in the Abyss.

  • i really enjoy the incesticide album its so outta space to me

  • in utero is the best

  • just mention it's your opinion(because too many people could argue about which album is the best)PLUS it's not about the album but about each songs. There is as much songs I love in bleach than in utero. And sappy is not from in utero. you must hate me now but hé who likes critics?

  • he's right sappy's from with the lights out box set

  • at 3:21 when his voice builds up into the scream and then heavy guitar riff it really does something to me inside.

  • same here

  • this songs about a family who locked their children in the celler very sad lyrics

  • Realy love this song <333 About the movie part, it would have been good in a heroin flash. It would have been realy good. Hope they have it in Kurt Cobain the movie. If you heard about in januari...

  • 3:22 best part

  • "Has this song ever been in a horror movie? I think it would be good for one."

i think it would be better for some sort of heroine trip scene thing.

  • well, no ? this music has a lot of sense, if you know some facts :')

  • Bleach and MTV unplugged were their best albums in my opinion.

  • unplugged? wtf... is bull shit..... bleach is the best

  • ahhhh This was the sickest album . this song still makes me wanna slap the dog shit outta someone .

  • that's not what it's about.that's not what

    s nirvana's about.

  • Fuck off

  • i say that becuase,(and i mean no offence but this is what it sounds like) by that comment,it just sounded like you are a metalhead who doesn't care about what songs are about and that kind of "metal stereotype" (and when i said that,i am NOT saying nirvana is metal).i say this all becuase Kurt was against metalheads, and other stuff you will have to look up.and im not sure if you are a metalhead or a nirvana fan who's comment i took the wrong way,or something completely different

  • were u talkin to me on that last comment ? :-/

  • no,i was talking to ocramkemet

  • Yeah ya know dude I like music . metal or country or classical , I dont really care who nirvana liked or not cuz if they were real they would realize that you cannot make sweeping judgements of people , music is a universal sphere . If I thought like those kind of people well I could say that all american music is black at its root and it was not made for the masses of racists and destroyers , but that makes no sesnse once u make it u lose control of who or what it is for .

  • ok.you didn't have to be that in-depth about it and i get what you're saying
