@ glen, use your leftover bullets on regenerator's leaches, and use the rest of your ammo for blowing up tanks and laying down hundreds of shotgun and/or Red9 max power bullets.
I love this part whenever i have ashley in her armoured suit this is where i test the "invincibility" thing... So i leave her in the gate place with the first iron maiden and i watch it smack her around xD it's fun and she wont die XD

1 slap for low rifle bullets
2 slap if you lack red9
3 slap for wasting your rifle on previous stuff.

you know you could just use the thermal vision and then memorize the parasite locations while you shoot with your pistol or other light weapon
