@pinnyminnymu I have used stick and spray - but any spray adhesive would work. This one is great because it is specifically designed to hold stamps to acrylic blocks and then be removed again. You can use normal glue to stick on the paper layer and the letters to the foam - you will need something strong! Also pva a flaff because does not dry quickly. As for mounting your finished stamp - have a go with what you've got. What's the worst that can happen?
i went on the site but i dont know the name of what you are using, so could just put up all the material used in your description or reply with them to me , thanks
@danger069gurl The name of the foam is FUNKY FOAM if you type this in to a search engine you should find it. Otherwise it is for sale in pretty much every stationers. You will also need some spray adhesive and small scissors. That's it!
YOU ARE A GENIOUS!!! I've always wanted to make my own stamps, now that I've watched your video, I can! I've got some chibi drawings I've been working on I would like to convert into stamps (kinda like the Greeting Farm, but much smaller) to fit a 4x5 card, so thank you for sharing this tutorial!!!!
You can also use double sided tape to adhere it to your acrylic block for stamping. I tried to go to the website to find more ideas and patters as stated in the vido but I could not find it. Can you please direct me to exactly where I can find it on the website please? By the way, love the website. I signed up for emails. Thank you so much.
@GirlyCrafts The problem with liquid glue is that the stamp will not be removable from the acrylic block afterwards. Wet glue may be ok if you want to stick it to a wood block and leave it there.
@4lyfShivi@4lyfShivi it is really a childs crafting material (and it is cheap because of this yay) - hobbycraft sell it, as do most stationers/craft centres. Amazon sell it - if you type 'funky foam' into a search engine you should find loads.
@LadyAnneRutherford - yes - but peel it off right after you finish using it - otherwise it will become too glued and - well the block will be fine - but your little foam stamp will be ruined in trying to get it off.
Love love love
