  • Yeah!!!j'en fais egalement et aussi en roller

  • @skouig J'ai commencé comme ça il y a 6 ans de ça! Maintenant, c'est le traîneau et le bikejo pour les leader l'été. =)

  • so you can do bikejoring with a two-wheel bike?

So far all the ones I have seen have three wheels.

  • nice video.. my dog is also from spain... We love to work in bikejöring...

    take care...

    greetz from germany...

    doreen

  • do you not even water them during a run?

I have worked with sled dogs - they were watered every 3 miles and lead dogs had water immediately available to them upon their return.

  • @rachieroomoo It depends of the distance. Actually, I don't train the dogs over 4-5 miles per training so I wait until we are back home to let them drink.

Temperature are below 0 now so they can do this distance without drinking.

Of course, I take water with me when I'm going out for long distance training.

I love my dogs and I take care of them. They always have access to fresh water in their enclosure, sleep in the house and are fed with high quality food.

  • @Astouek ahh okay, I was just pondering. Thanks for clarifying! :)

  • @Astouek my stubborn german shepherd won't listen and keeps stopping to mark while he's at work(bikejoring). how do i get him to stop? he doesn't mark when i walk on feet with him cause i have 100% control of him when i'm walking. on the bike, i have to jerk the leash everytime he stops or when he squats down i use my feet to kick his balls(not hard though), but i wanted to.

  • i have watched five video now of dogs pulling and i have yet to see any of the owners offer their dogs water after stopping. they have litle attachments you can put on water bottles now that allows the dog to sip comfortably.

  • @persebra It's dangerous to offer water to your dog right after a long ride : it can twist their stomach and cause death.

After the run, you have to wait atleast 30 minutes before giving them water in little quantity.

Furthermore, I don't see the interest of filming my dogs drinking after a ride...

  • @Astouek

thanks for that info, no i dont have a dog so i had not read up on how to care for them after a run. please excuse my ignorance.

  • awesome video, what a happy dog! It is SO fun isn't it?

  • my dog tazz used to love pulling me on my bike when i was younger, at least 12 years ago. i never knew it was a real sport.

the nieghbours always thought i was insane going up and down the road with tazz pulling me on the bike or sled, but now i can tell them that i wasnt:)
