I noticed that that the woodland pattern has only a few specks of brown, in contrast to woodland DPM and MARPAT, which have brown as a main color alongside green, what's the reason behind this?

I think the woodland CADPAT is too green and sticks out unless the is a bush directly behind you. I think that MARPAT and ACU are better choices.

Any army surplus store in Canada should have the CADPAT. Not sure about authentic, but it looks like the real deal.

there is a difference between real CF CADPAT thats issued to soldiers and that which you buy in stores, the difference is how its made and real CADPAT if worn can't be seen by night vision goggles, and doesn't fade with washing, and usually is printed on a white material, as with CF CADPAT is printed on olive drab material.

You must have your information wrong, In no means is this an Insult but Generation 1's (Exposed buttons) We're printed on a White Base (Look at the Sergeants Uniform in the beginning -Gen 1- The slight Fade-) (Gen 2 On are Printed on OD bases), My Uncles Rank Tab/ then the uniform itself slowly Faded away over a period of washing, they're real with the CF/Nato tag and all.

There are some Civilian Manufacturers like CPGear or IceTactical that have the rights to produce non Military pattern KIT in genuin issue CADPAT both TW and AR.

almostin0, go buy some cadpat, there is velcro on the upper arms for our flags. We just dont use ridiculous amounts of it like the americans do, because when we're in the woods we dont want to hear RIPPP as the flag or unit patch is torn off by a tree branch and have our position given blatently given away. You fucking tool.

Also, if you take a look at our Arid cadpat being worn overseas, you will notice that it is now a nato requirement for the arms to have pockets on them. stop bitching.

Oh, we have dumb ass whiners in the States, as well. They join, then they bitch, cry, moan and weep about everything.

The camouflage issue is bad in the US Armed Forces. The Marine Corps is the only service that still has camouflage that actually blends in. Only a small amount of velcro is allowed for IR tabs. The Army just got stupid and made a shit green and grey pattern with material that falls apart easily and has too much velcro. Then, the Air Force and Navy followed the stupid route.
