There are too many superficial players now who just play the music...they don't feel it nor do they understand it....to be a real musician you have to feel the music within your heart...that may sound corny but it's what music is...if you feel strongly about it,it's a part of who you are...and it goes deeper than just the outer layer...the music you write is a way to express your emotions...If Kyle ever had a concert I would pay a TON of money to go see it <333 Your great!

simnos1, There is nothing predictable about this, or any other piece played by kyleandry. There are always veriations on chords progressions and plenty of modulation. Unless you listen to them so often you know whats coming next (cant say i'd blame you) then i fail to see how these compositions are predictable. The only thing i can predict is the quality...

I like your use of a very simple and popular chord progression (1st, 6th, 4th, 5th) to create something wonderful. The interruped cadence at the beginning makes a great hook, people thinking that the dominant chord will take them back to the tonic but it doesn't, it goes to Fmajor which entices the listener and makes them want to listen more.

That basically repeats throughout, but with different interruptions, with nice melodies on top. Good techniques, I think.

very nice. whatever you do, and however you do it, i'm sure it will continue being great. you ever played on a really good piano? like a 7+ footer? there is a big difference. i work at a piano shop and get to play them, every now and then we get one that's just ridiculously awesome, and it turns me into an instant virtuoso, not only that but the sound quality is much better with all the sympathetic vibrations throughout which you don't get from an electronic keyboard. I really like how this song hints at happiness in the distance. It isn't very outright in its happiness, and has portions that are almost sad. Towards the end, I find this song sounding like a goodbye; like saying goodbye to someone who is leaving to something better. And you feel good and sad about it at the same time. It's something of loneliness. I like it. :]
